any cheap x470 mobo? no "b450" like the b350? itx?
Not yet, just go buy a B350 ITX board.

what RAM speed is best if using GPU? 3000mhz enough? or lower is not much difference?
*
Depends on GPU, game and settings.

My GTX 1080 for example, I see FPS difference between 2400 and 3000 range.

I'd say go with 3000 is good enough, the improvements are there but not as much (marginal) when going higher speed.

QUOTE(TristanX @ May 3 2018, 09:28 AM)
Yeah, needs to be exactly same brand and model for the RAM. It won't run dual channel or runs at slower speed if anything is different.

*examples removed to shorted post*
From what I've experimented and experience so far, it doesn't have to be exact brand and / model for the RAM.

It will run dual channel as long as it's same size (and both are detected), and just run based on the lower common denominator for speed and timing.

Just to confirm before I reply here, I run my Apacer Blade Fire DDR4-3000 with G.Skill Sniper X DDR4-3466 on the same rig. They work fine in dual channel configuration.

QUOTE(TristanX @ May 3 2018, 09:28 AM)
Also, using RAM with different spec may have compatibility issues.

Yes.

The reason to get exact same model, or better yet a pair kit, is to avoid compatibility issues.

i own a RYZEN 5 2400g but it seems that IGPU is not up what those ppl reviewed... i am new to pc gaming. is there anything to boost it?
*
You should look at the details of the review.

I've already highlighted it.

If you run Ryzen 5 2400G with DDR-2400 RAM, your Vega 11 will under perform so badly that it's behind the Vega 8 on the Ryzen 3 2200G with DDR4-3200

My benchmarks are all on dual-channel.

On single channel it makes things worse, the performance is about half of it.

I currently Own a spacer 8gb ddr4 2400. How do i check it is cl16 or cl17?
Refer to the box, details are all there.

If you're running like Apacer Blade or Panther, those models are known to be able to clock higher.

You could hit 2666.

My Apacer Blade Fire DDR4-3000 can do 3466 on Intel setup.

On AMD Setup highest I reach is DDR4-3333.

Can anyone look at my stats and see if anything is wrong ?

2700X/Wraith Prism/3200mhz ram via XMP

Someone with the same setup cpu+cooler hit 1800, but his is a different ram, same 3200mhz.

I'm still using my old Cooler Master Thunder M 620 PSU, so it might be not good for this ?
To max out your Cinebench score, you need to

1. turn off as many software as possible.
2. use as high RAM speed as possible.

Anyone got 5Ghz+ with 2700X?
What's your vcore like?

And can do Cinebench / ASUS RealBench / Blender without crashing?

I managed to score 1776 in Cinebench after tweaking some ram timings.
4ghz @ 1.275v - hovering around 78C max
Nice. Is that with stock clock settings + XMP?
You can do 4.1Ghz with stock cooler.

Hrmmm, AMD specs say boost at 4.3. I've never seen it go beyond that but your readings are interesting.

Does HWinfo and Ryzen Master show the same?

That's insanely high boost.

Yup, Ryzen 7 2700X don't need OC. It overclocks itself.
Yup, the OC is pretty awesome but depends on your usage.

For gaming, I'd say let the XFR2 and Precision Boost do the job, games fluctuate in core usage and it does really fine on that.

For multi-core utilization, and OCed 2700X still does it better.

I tried, stock vs 4.1Ghz.

Cinebench results the 4.1Ghz OC wins on Multi-threaded but stock wins on Single-threaded.

It's an amazing processor.

thats why i think not that impressive, if oc sure went alot higher, i like my stuff cool for longevity
I'm more concerned of your figures. If your casing temperature is like 30c or more all the time then gg it's going to melt bit by bit.

XD its just temporary i think i will remove them, im a little concern too
but i see others put their figures inside case too  hmm.gif
biggrin.gif I put on casing, or desk but definitely not in casing.

Long run not good, their outer protective layer will be the first one to melt and then it becomes sticky.

It is boost, not OC. It takes time to ramp up.

I'll do Realbench when I'm free.
Need not do, on stock is 100% confirm sure pass. biggrin.gif

i heard that thrs a temp offset for ryzen, maybe thats what limiting the cores going higher
maybe it can go a little more higher by doing some tweaking like precision boost overdrive, set higher temp offset, turn off some limiter, etc & let sensemi ai do its work
70c far from being toasty.

Temperature off-set is 10c.

the temp definitely will went to 80~90c if i do OC

Wraith Prism stock cooler stress test can see that Ryzen 7 2700X go beyond 90c. smile.gif

Does it run well with 2700X (turbo up to 4.5GHz?) and support fast RAM?

Haven't try. My unit is running with Ryzen 7 1700.

Ryzen 7 2700 is going on other systems.

Meaning I need to get a X470 ITX board for the 2700X to go past 4.3GHz without manual OC?
Don't think so. X370 should be able to do that as well.
