Those of you intending to use the AMD Ryzen APU, just make sure your board comes with video output connectors on the board or your will not be able to use the integrated VEGA GPU.

Ryzen 2200 (99$) / ryzen 3 1200 + apu= 400RM
Ryzen 2400 (169$) / ryzen 5 1400 + apu = 700RM

price to performance ratio, the ryzen 2400 actually is not really a good deal.
but the ryzen 2200 might be lacking for quite demanding games.

What do you guys think?

You must consider,

Ryzen 5 2400G is like Ryzen 5 1400, and Ryzen 5 1400 is RM 739.

Ryzen 3 2200 is around Ryzen 3 1200 and if you've actually used Ryzen 3 1200 you'll find it handles games pretty well, and does better than other processors at that price point.

Currently there's no IGP/APU can surpass that kind of performance. Still far to go.

RX560 also can hehe. Since u have already done the benchmarks and cant reveal yet. I think 2400U is better compared to intel but nothing close to a discrete GPU.
if dota 2 ultra smooth can also then boleh!!!

For those who going to buy Ryzen APU its is great idea to get a 2666+Mhz memory stick, because the new APU Use a Infinity Fabric (Infinity Fabric tick at memory clock speed) instead of HyperTransport like a old one

After watching this video, i can confirm that even thou the ryzen 2400G is the best option for gaming than it's little brother 2200G.
The 2200G still in the end is better when it comes to "price to performance" ratio when it comes to gaming.

- ryzen 2200g is 41% cheaper for only 16% - 17% less FPS vs. Ryzen 2400g

for those planning for a budget build for gaming and will not be doing video editing then ryzen 2200g would be a better bang for the buck.

Yeah pretty much.

Ryzen 5 2400G if you pair with DDR4-2400 the graphics performance goes lower than Ryzen 3 2200G with 3200.

Even if someone want to use a dGPU instead of the iGPU, the new 2200G and 2400G are better purchase than the 1300 and 1500X right?

will this APU have CF future? wouldnt mind buying another Vega 11 that can rival RX580/480 laugh.gif
R5 2400G is nice option for gamers who wants to buy RX470 & above but has common sense not to buy overprice GPU right now sweat.gif
I would buy 1. if I dont have RX460 & i5. rclxs0.gif
