Timetable for KTM Komuter Train from KL Sentral to Batu Caves

KTM Komuter Train Frequency:

Every 15 minutes (during peak hours)

Every 20-30 minutes (during off peak hours)

Journey Duration (Length) from KL Sentral to Batu Caves Station: 26 minutes

First Train Departure from KL Sentral: 6.54am

First Train Arrival at Batu Caves: 7.20am

Last Train Departure from KL Sentral: 11.24pm

Last Train Arrival at Batu Caves: 11.50pm



Returning from Batu Caves to KL Sentral

Returning from Batu Caves to KL Sentral is also straight forward. Just catch the KTM Komuter train from the Batu Caves station after your visit, but in the direction heading towards Perlabuhan Klang (Port Klang). The fare is the same, RM2. The first train departs from Batu Caves at 6.40am while the last train leaving Batu Caves is at 10.10pm. The frequency of the train from Batu Caves KTM Komuter Station is also 15 minutes during peak hours and 20-30 minutes during off peak hour.

Upon arriving at KL Sentral Station, you can continue to explore Kuala Lumpur as KL Sentral is conveniently connected via LRT trains, Monorail Trains and KTM Komuter Train to hotspots in KL such as Mid Valley, Bukit Bintang, KLCC, TBS Bus Terminal and many more.


P/S - Do expect heavy jam if u drive to there. Recommended to park opposite side of highway.

which lens should i bring? 16mm wide prime or 50mm?

not sure if its a good move to change lens in a crowd of people. also just realized 8th feb is tomorrow. my leave is on 9th...

take half day or coming during evening time (which I doubt myself dunno where I wander)

i generally use wide angle shot first before i change my lens and I will go place where less crowded or go to 1 corner to swap it.

I finished my shooting from 2pm to 9pm & took train to reach home around 10pm yesterday, damn tired.

Will share photo soon! It's an eye opening festival for chinese guy like me.
