Hi everyone, due to forced by my parents, they want me to own an apartment here. Btw, I not sure where to start and what have to take notes. Can someone give me a guide on purchasing an apartment?

Maybe ppl may misunderstood my questions. Actually i m just scare of being cheated by ppl during purchasing an apartment. So i m looking for advise on how to beware cheater and make this purchase process smooth and steady. Shld i start it by find an property agent? I really have no idea about this.

For your information, I m looking for apartment that near taman Melati setapak which nearby with public transport as I don't drive. Thanks everyone for help

Can just google around and hunt.

I know there's lot condo out there but i m asking how to buy an apartment. Not where to find an apartment.

Your 1st post itself is not clear.

Just find a registered property agent - Preferable someone from a bigger agency. You should be able to see his face in most property websites.

Negotiate your price. Agent supposed to assist to get the best deal for both party.

Pay earnest deposit, get a bank loan and the rest, lawyer will do for you?

as I know Taman Melati is all bumi unit only. Except for the PV condo. edited again: and maybe Putra Villa Condo. (lol got the wrong condo just now).

No I am not. Ya mostly all bumi here except condo. But I not really mind about that
