By the way, just a reminder. Is there anyway to keep out hamster cage from pest such as ants or centipede?

Sad to say, two of my boys got poisoned by a centipede that climbed into their cage and died , my most sayang one was one of it...........

Just post this up so that no one else have to suffer as i do as i neglected this part of situation when i just put the cage on the floor inside my house.

One day before i heard the news, dunno why somehow i was imagining him walking around on the table when i was studying in the library.
Or is it i seeing things now i not sure liao

Btw hun, the chemicals smell wont affect them is it?

hehe, dunno. But i love that particular one the most. not that his children was not good or bcoz his wife is bitey. Still like to play him the most and he was the most hand tamed among my hamsters.

Miss him.. hopefully he RIP and didn't suffer much before he left.

They bite bcoz they feel damn stress already and no other option to do. You think la, if a big hand suddenly come and grab you what you will do in the first place without knowing it is dangerous or safe?

Its natural to nib if it has not being familiar with you. Aggresive types will bite till you bleed. but normally they just nibs. Its not really biting but just extremely soft bitting. But hand tame ones wont even nib on strangers, i think some of crazy mouse RC and all ww wont nib at all.

Patience, the babies need to stick to their mother for awhile before you do anything. is your cage very smelly now? if really come to the point cannot tahan, just test test your girl angry or not by try poke in a stick. if yes wait a few more days.

Heh, normal la. the mothers will be very scared something happens to the pup and stuff them back to the nest. But always running around. Feed her well.

How old is the pups? Best is let them together around 30++days with the mother to learn some "basic living skill" from their mom 1st b4 u separate them.

I got one black bear that never bites at all. Tame as his father (Rena, its your male that give me one, his gene finally pass to his kids xD)

But also got follow his father inferior and dumb dumb behaviour, always blur only xD. But always bullied by his brother. Very chubby and squishy. Will show pics when i got the chance.
