ur pups how old liao?? Thr'll be a time when the mommy will not let the pups suckle anymore coz the pups should have the ability to eat and drink on themselves ady.

Just wanna know ... when the pups are ready to feed on themselves and drink water on their own ... is it orite for me to separate htem from the mommy ??

i jz went to Pets Family at Taman Megah. Wow .. they got a few very very cute little RC there - all babies. I don't think they're for sale - most probably around 2 - 3 weeks old only. Got one agouti and one wholly black bear - SUPER CUTE neh!!!!!!! OMG!!

LOL .. the little pinkies are only 6 days old and they're getting fatter and bigger. GEtting nottier too - moves a lot and when the beddings are spread over a surface, they all simply run about .. Then the mommy would have to pick them up one by to one and put them back into the nest and rebuild the walls of the nest again ..

I jz came back home. Found one pinkie dead in the tank next to the nest. She wasn't cannibalised. Neither did she has any injuries. So, I dunno wud's da cause of her death but then again, she's the tiniest among the 7 siblings. Should I remove her dead body ?

K .. removed already. Surprisingly, the mommy didn't even cannibalise any part of the pinky. She jz leave the pinky in the wood.

I think she has feelings also. I always see her licking her pups ... hehe.

my syrians do not smell at all . The mommy hamster with 6 pups in the tank - one week plus already still no smell. I don't smell anything coming from her tank.... hehe. Robos - YES!! Dunno why they smell more than my syrians ..

use littering sand lor .. Shud be able to reduce the smell

Hahahhahaa ... Seriously i din smell anything coming out from the tank. Maybe because it's spacious and I put quite a lot of bedding for her. As for the male syrian, he stinks A BIT after a week coz he's in a smaller toyogo (1.5 or 2 ft toyogo) but then still, the smell is not strong. IF strong, sure kenak complained by housemates ady. I put the male outside in the living room at nite coz at nite, he bising bising - i kenot tidur.

U can find corncob everywhere and if i'm not mistaken, you can get BC at Pets Family. Or maybe go get woody pets .

hehe .. my female syrian is aggressive when she is pregnant. She nipped me the day before she gave birth. Got two holes on my finger . Now dunno still aggressive or not .. i dun dare to kacau her.

my pups eyes still haven open yet. Still looks botak botak but got tiny tiny fur lar. But last nite I saw them curi keluar from the nest and they ate some solid food. When the mommy realised all her babies cabut already, she super busy go find them and put them back to nest again. It was cute when the baby hug the pellet and ate it. THey couldn't even walk properly yet. Walk walk few steps, then pelantin

The feel's like when you go for blood donation, they poke ur finger to check ur blood ma.. that type of feel lor. So, it's nothin to me coz i donate blood very frequently one ..

wah .. u're sked of needles??? I got a few frenz who're sked of needles too. No matter how hard i tried to pull them to go for blood donation with me, they jz won't go .. ROFLMAO.

But anyway, the bite wasn't that bad. Not really painful - maybe i'm used to the needle poking feeling .

Last time when i was young, my dad bought two hamsters from those pasar malam one. The uncle told me red eye hamsters are aggressive and nippy . But as I grew older, I don't think red eyes are aggressive ler. It's something to do with their genes only - dun haf the eye colour pigment . I think red eyes are CUTE!!! Very special.
