Good evening everyone. I need help to decide a laptop for gaming + rendering (as I do bring to college too) Here's detail about my budget: Budget price: RM 3000 - RM 4000 (if more than Rm4000, I'll consider again) CPU: Intel i7 (if possible 7th Gen) Graphic Card: Nvidia GeForce 9/10 series HDD: If possible HDD+SSD (if cannot, either one) I do found some laptop which the price is around my budget: HP Pavilion 15-au105TX Notebook: http://h20386.www2.hp.com/MalaysiaStore/Me...22&opt=&sel=NTBHP Pavilion 15-au136TX Notebook: http://h20386.www2.hp.com/MalaysiaStore/Me...63&opt=&sel=NTBDell Inspiron 15 (7559, 7566, 7567, 7559): http://www.dell.com/my/p/inspiron-15-7559-...-15-7559-laptophttp://www.dell.com/my/p/inspiron-15-7566-...-15-7566-laptophttp://www.dell.com/my/p/inspiron-15-7567-...-15-7567-laptophttp://www.dell.com/my/p/inspiron-15-7559-...-15-7559-laptopI'm thinking to consider HP laptop (since they have Dual HDD+SSD), but according to my friend, their customer service is very lousy + their hardware is not too good enough. Please give me some advice. Thank you This post has been edited by ericthekingsho: Feb 5 2017, 09:58 PM

The Inspiron 7559 uses a significantly better quality display, for the 1920x1080 option. See this: https://www.reddit.com/r/Dell/comments/5rhf...hy_it_matters/ (Says 7567 but applies to both the 7566 and 7567) This post has been edited by edit1754: Feb 7 2017, 04:07 AM

i use dell 7559 at work.
other than the laptop being bulky and heavy, its quite a good power horse.
note sure what sort of rendering do you do, but i use for 3d modelling.
tested the laptop for gaming, running high spec at resolution 1920 x 1080 for pre 2015 games bf4, me2 could still get around 45~60fps. but newer games like batman dark knight of gta v or bf1 would suffer
noise/fan seems to activate when gaming. rendering my 3dmodels seems to be ok
btw, lousy touchpad. better off with a mouse. keyboard was mediocre. screen was good with less glare from the indoor lights. didnt watch movie with it so no comment on that

My old laptop is KO already. So I need to find a new laptop to replace my old laptop
