if you decided your gonna apply tint i recommend you put one which really blocks out the heat and not just as a mere aesthetic item. they might cost a pretty penny (especially if your talking large window area like an suv s ) but its worth it in the end with our increasing temperature in malaysia.

Added on March 22, 2008, 6:44 pmif it actually effects the colours of the light ie red doest look red any more then its definitely illegal. but if your gonna do it ,try to keep the tinting light ,make it dark and it will actually be hazardous to you when your driving in heavy rain or at night and people can see your tail lights early enough
