Dear bros,

I have a Gigabyte CA2 GoPC SFF cube that I am using as my internet rig. The casing is small, and runs quite hot even when idle.

Cooling comes from
1) PSU fan
2) Right side vent - 60mm + hsf, custom size by Gigabyte
3) Left side vent - for AGP

The internal is very crowded, and idle temps are:
CPU : ~ 47 - 50C
Mobo: ~ 44 - 48C
HDD: ~ 42 - 45C

Any suggestions how I can (find someone help) to mod the thing to be cooler?

I have tried:
- notebook cooler below SFF, not very helpful
- usb fan blowing near right side vent, noisy

The problem is, not enough exhaust power to remove heat from internals.
Any ideas will be appreciated, thanks...

I dont think can change any internal fan, and I think no extra 3-pin fan connector on the mobo also. I was thinking of mounting a fan on the right side outside and cut a hole thru to plug the fan in. Maybe some modder can help notworthy.gif

if u wanna lower them anymore, it's either switch on the air-con or do serious modding

hmm unless u could get some mesh grill as replacement for the ventilation area for the case ... cut and apply like a window on both sides....

else it's just too cramp to even put in a fan..
