This morning I visited Maxis Centre KLCC to port one of my prepaid lines into Hotlink Internet 365, only to be told the system is down since December.

I had planned this MNP for weeks, including winding down my credit and validity on the number to be ported. So I decide to port to other telco.

Tried again on Friday and port out rejected, I suspect Maxis sent request to wrong telco.

Go back Maxis Centre Saturday night and finally submitted successfully.

Now waiting patiently on the process.

Maxis scaremongering again

Ported in 16 Jan

Initial 5 days validity expires 21 Jan

After that, 30 days grace period

I have barely been using this plan for a week and it seems the goalposts are moving.

A highly irregular move by Maxis to rebrand and change the rules.

I request comment from @Maxis on whether the 365 days validity pass for RM30 will be maintained in the light of the name change?

completely foreseeable if they are in tune with local market

Hi,

The SIM 365 Validity Pass can be activated at RM30 from 27 January 2022 onwards.

under myhotlink

tap on your plan name at the top

then tap Upgrade

Pantas plan not recommended for regular calling as the rate is 30 sen/min.

FAQ says

Each top up of RM10 and above will keep your account/SIM active for 30 days from the day you top up.

TNC says

All and any top-up denomination for the Plan will grant you 60 active-days from the activation of the Plan (“Active Period”) to make calls, SMS, MMS and access to the internet.

Which version is valid?

Thanks. Anyway, Hotlink seems to have edited the tnc, there's no more reference to 60 days validity.

You have to ask the new telco to resubmit the request.
