u all give up on BF1 already?
i long time never play anything...i see BF4 servers like not many around here now.

I play more BF4 these days because I like it better. I still play BF1 but not that often.

Regarding servers yes there are less servers these days for BF4. Not a problem for me because I play on US servers like the one in the video. Usually my ping is around 190 - 220ms. But hitmarker is pretty good.

When I play on local server in Singapore my ping is less than 10 but hitmarker is pretty shit. Most probably the server runs on potato hardware.

It bored me to death because there is no competitive scene in Malaysia for Battlefield series. Most of the time, it's just Dota everywhere. The last time we have competition was when Wallabi organised the 8 vs 8 tournament. It was fun while it lasts.

I didn't know BF4 has this map as well. Metro meant to play on BF3

I fancy BF3 has more SEA servers (mostly conquest and tdm) than BF4 now.

BF3 is fun too but the dynamics are different. TV missile has unlimited range, tanks have AP shell that travel as fast as Sabot shell in BF3 (RIP jet players) + reactive armour (that need to be repaired at the impact area) and not to mention jets are very powerful too.

But in BF4 attack heli got nerfed real good. They are only effective in maps like Shanghai. Tanks no longer has unlimited shell. Jets can easily be countered with mobile AA. Personally I like BF4 because it is easier to baserape the enemy. For me the fun starts we enemy starts raging in chat and I can collect hackusation too ---> http://imgur.com/a/nlKVo

I filtered BF4 servers to Asia only results looks like half of BF3's server available and mostly are japanese servers
And BF1 should not be the cause of many servers disappearing coz their servers all hosted by EA and not third party

Well I beg to differ. Imagine if you are renting BF4 server with your friends. Then BF1 came out and you and your friends move to play BF1. Then there's not much incentive for you to keep the BF4 server running because you're not going to play in it anyway. Having traffic is good but some servers survive based on donation from its members. If there's no more fund, the server cannot continue.

Its always like that. New game comes out. The old game slowly dies........well unless that game is shit like Hardline where everyone go back to play BF4.

I see potential of BF1 dying earlier esp in Asia. They are not listening to the players to add more servers. Plus you imagine how many nations are all trying to connect to Japan's servers. People as far as South Africa is connecting to Japan

EA's server rental price not cheap also compared to 3rd party.

Yeah EA's inability to provide server for Southeast Asia is pretty disappointing. Probably they don't see the region as having enough market compared to other parts of the world. After all I can guarantee you that there are more people playing Dota here compared to Battlefield series.

i played BF4 again after a few months couple nights ago...snap aim all off...haha.
plus first server played on, then crashed...next one got stutter lag...somethings never change.

ya competitive scene dieded long time ago already when EA took out LAN support...
too bad the high points were all mostly reserved to the early days BF1942 and BF2.
imo BF3 tried its best but got spoilt by COD boys with all the stupid 4v4 and 5v5...and that was the end

For connection, if you're on wireless, you should consider using LAN cable instead. I use 25m LAN cable at home because I got fed up with unstable connection using wireless adapter.

For competitive scene, I don't really know much pre-BF4 because I only started playing Battlefield series when BF3 was on Humble Bundle (Pretty late). I got into BF3 after I watched funny trolling videos where people like SkillTroll Battlefield 3 - Trolling dem Noobs 10 , grandmasterauto Battlefield 3 Trolling dem Noobs and Thelolwad Battlefield 3 Trolling dem Noobs 4 are blowing up camper noobs with C4 and teabagging them.

For BF4, there are 5v5 for domination & defuse (by ESL), 8v8 (by BCL), 2v2 heli (by ACE) & 32v32 (by LevelBF). Those are the ones that I can recall. Pretty sure there are more but I get it that there are wayyy too many 5v5 in ESL and vehicle players like me hate playing infantry mode unless it is conquest.

tht ultimate was back during BF2 where they had a world tournament with huge sponsors...and something like 500+ teams seperated into regions...
so in our one we mostly met aussies and koreans.
this was also when bfnut were bfnut and i think they made the top 20...we all no standard top 100 only

Having those world tournament again would be epic. But I doubt that EA will do that. It won't be cheap and logistic-wise will be a nightmare.

I suspect they will do showmatch like the one they did for BF4 Battlefield 4 Showdown Live Europe vs. US Replay & BF1 launch (Can't find the video but I remember Snoop Dogg was high as fuck when he played it). They're just gonna invite Battlefield Youtubers and celebrities to play the game.

EA loves their money too much. There are many hackers running around in BF4 & BF1 and ban hammer is really slow. I wish EA would do what Blizzard are doing in Overwatch right now. Ban the user's PC so that even if they buy a new account they will still get banned unless they change their PC that is.

ya those celebrities are lame.

btw, those banning is up to punkbuster or fairfight or whatever is being used now.
back during early days of BF, punkbuster used to ban by hash key which is tied to the mobo... so only way to get unbanned apart from appealing is to buy a new PC.
then of typical crybabies appeared and got punkbuster / dice to change to just cdkey... this was around BF3 time and has been since.
punkbuster etc is still not bad, its just whoever running it probably doesn't play games so can't tell a hacker from none even if right in front of their face.

On one end, the cheat detector is pretty weak but what make me get angry the most is Origin's Game Time where people just create an alternate account to play BF4 for free with their cheats. Then once their game time finished, they would just create another account. Rinse and repeat.

A lot of these cheaters don't even buy the game to begin with. Game Time has good intention of giving people the opportunity to try out new games without buying them but inadvertedly they're contributing to more cheaters. The solution to this would be to create separate servers for Game Time players.

ive never used game time before...tho maybe i should just to try out some games like titanfail 2...tho probably not offered yet.

Unfortunately Titanfall 2 is not available through Origin Access and Trials at this moment. I played Beta for Titanfall 1 long time ago. It was really fun jumping from building to building.
