I am quite skeptical of the technician claim.

If only you know how to telnet/ssh into the router and run "adsl info --stats"......... happy.gif

Now that a tough one. I assume you have port 22 ssh and telnet enabled for your router internal network.

SSH

Open.

Type in username and password for your router.

Once login successful = type those adsl command.

I called 100-4 and the sales person said she was going to upgrade my 4mbps to 8mbps for RM140 a month. How long does it take before I get the speed upgrade? I called last Saturday.

Can 1mbps upgrade to 2 or 4 mbps with discount? I paying rm90 every month on 1mbps package.

No. Cheapest is RM110 (gst exclusive figure). And that is still 1Mbps.

Not the super duper jimat deal. TM telemarketer offered to existing customer to upgrade from 512kbps (RM90) to 1mbps (+RM10).

I don't think ur existing discount can carry forward,
So it's either 2m/120 or 4m/130
