actually, you are not only one been scammed like this before..alot of people felt into this kind of bullshit nowadays when they make a visit to tyre shop. need to share info about this camber screw myth/scam so that people are aware, and doesnt fell into this trap
usually they will show you your tire wear pattern (wear on edge) without first asking customer "did you maintain your tyre pressure?"..because, alot of time people are just doesnt care about tyre pressure, and low tyre pressure can contribute to wear on the edge of the tyre.
then they willl show some value on the monitor, when you ask which one is camber value, toe value, caster etc2, some foreman also dont know which one is which lol..
somemore, if you go to different shop, and your car already equipped with camber screw, they will say the camber screw is lousy one, need to change..walao..
but yeah, in certain cases you do need camber value, but not that easy..i've seen a 10 years proton waja doesnt even need camber alignment..only toe alignment needed, and it works just fine..
