how much to start playing this game?

minimum? i would say just buy the base FFXIV ARR (comes with free 30days sub)
alternative (more days) download the trial version first. (allows you to play up to level 35 and 14 days login max.) then you purchase the ARR (so in a way you get to play 44 days)

to get to the latest content, its going to cost more. have to buy ARR + HW (expansion) not to mention the monthly sub $$ as well.

for the price i am not sure where to get good deals so you will have to search a bit.
can check PSN/STEAM/Impulse/Heavyarms etc. usually they have it

I'm on pc. I do have steam but not sure my direction since I want to be in a server where locals are playing.

ffxiv is not available for SEA peeps on steam as far as i know.

for digital download, SEA peeps get cheaper prices from europe SE store if you wanna get from SE directly.

i researched about the game time top up before resubbing to the game and i found that paying via CC/DC for Entry subscription is the cheapest at GBP 7.69 was charged RM 43.50.

seagm / offgamers have GST , transaction fee and all other bullshit fee if you planning to buy from them.

you can double check the prices i mentioned above if you are unsure. hope that helped

If possible dont get it from steam...Get it from EU SE store. Future sub/mog station item would be cheaper than NA.

I bought from g2a eu code and activate it for my eu region account successfully and able to log in using that account from steam

now...how do I get to register at tonberry?

it can be activated and now I have 90 days ( 60 days veteren reward rank 2)

I got my own fc we do have some malaysian in the fc. Also got people frm thai/tw/sg/jp/aus.

perhaps can ask around in linkshells or fc i just transferred my main to tonberry lastnight.

Oh have not been checking this for a while. Im already in Tonberry for a long time. Have a good group of people that I play with daily. Very active. Some new, some veterans.
