i use auto focus & manual later (A/M)... I use big aperture though... just to get that feel of one line across...

i think rad asked what lens u used?
controlling the dof in macro is important  i use manual focus for my macro shots as well because the af is pretty much useless for my lens. |

i got hold of the lense by nikon AF-S VR Micro-Nikkor 105mm f/2.8G IF-ED. wonderful lense... Just that i dunno how to 'control' that beast yet. |

put smaller aperture. f2.8 is too big. set at least f11-22 if can.

Have to train my hands to be more steady, even with VR on and super closeup, still can see the focus dot moving... sigh... I worked that VR engine up pretty well for that shot. Till I can feel the lense getting hot. More to come. Thanks for stopping by.  |

is hard to go at eye level. Because some of the doggies either got scared off and start to move around (hyper) or they got curious and start to lick your lense... Mine got licked.... :haha
