i activated multisim yesterday at maxis ttdikl.
gave me 2 new sims in which 1 will be principle with calls+sms+data..and 2nd device will only hav data.
they did mentioned dat their new "system" had difficulties on activating multisim feature.

the 1st @ primary sim activated immediately while 2nd sim needs 24-48 hours..i was like wth..so ok laa..walked out..popped in both sims in. 2nd sim had no connectivity at all.

after a while..they called me to walk-in back as they had issues configuring both sims..again wth..

walked in back..ask me to make calls on the 1st sim..no issues on data as well. so issue was on 2nd sim. after waiting for a while..they finally resolved it..popped in 2nd sim..activated immediately.

pls make sure both sims working immediately..1st sim can make & receive calls..smses..with data; and 2nd sim only data.
or you will end up like me or worst.

still no volte on my device..haihh..

my bad..yes..no volte on if u hav multi-sim service.

the attitude of their staffs..i can say it is BAD..
frm my experience..when i was in maxis ttdikl..

the staff handling my request for multisim service had some system-related difficulties (read my prev postings)..

i had to walk-in the 2nd time on da same day..1 of
her superior..even scolded her in public: you tahu buat kerja ke takk? lain kali cakap biar terang sikit.

is this the so called NO.1 telco?

even the new A42 popped up on the device list now

any multisim users had volte enabled?
my other num w/out multisim got volte last nite

in my case..
its not related to firmware updates
my other phone is relatively new A425G
running android 10
no option to enable/disable volte
yet..volte is activated/enabled

funny..my supp line volte was activated few months ago..
volte working.. all of sudden.. now volte is missing..

update: my bad.. i was messing up with apn settings. put back 'default'.. volte appear back.

on that phone..there's no option to toggle volte..
restarting phone also did not work..until i put back 'default'

frm my understanding..if volte is enabled..the logo will appeared..but wont drop to 3g if normal calls were made..
if it drops to 3g..means volte is disabled..

i observed this on my wife's android.
on my phone..volte is still not enabled bcoz i use multisim.

u shud try livechat via maxis app..

btw..nothing special bout their volte..bad voice quality..
now im not so keen nor excited bout volte honestly.

ive not rcvd any volte yet
as per my post #996..ive deactivated volte on my wife's android. kept complaining bad call quality & dropped calls.

i do understand da situation whn marehsia fully shuts off 3G..
till then..i will stick to disabling volte on my wife's phone.

im still not getting volte..bcoz im on multisim..my phone currently fully supports volte.

porting out to other telco..not at da moment..

finally..volte is activated on my multisim number..

i called up maxis earlier today..asking when will multisim user will have volte.. it was not easy..

after waiting for quite some time..around 20mins i was on hold.. i was transferred to "network" dept. here they inquired which/what device im using.. then told me to wait within 24hrs for activation.

after the call..i restarted my samsung..pops out volte..
guess im lucky today..

will see how good/bad volte is..
if not good.. will force close volte.

i dont know bout other users..but my samsung no button to toggle on/off volte..

dats y need to force it to off later..
