QUOTE(terradrive @ Jan 26 2017, 09:57 AM) Monitor first i think so far still ok 1080p 60hz for my eye:D Even a freesync 144hz is ok. The 144hz is more important and much easier to play dota on my 165hz monitor. QUOTE(goldfries @ Jan 26 2017, 10:10 AM) The only reason to upgrade your PSU is your PSU. u right, my current PSU is CM extreme plus 500, which already 6years old If the current PSU is not good for GTX 1060, it won't be good for your GTX 1050 Ti as well. Their difference is like some 40 - 50w. Oh and no 80plus doesn't mean not good, with 80plus doesn't mean good. 80plus tells you power efficiency, it doesn't tell you how good the components are. it used to power up my HD4850 before which TDP much higher than 1050ti. so far still ok with 1050ti, but if i want to upgrade to 1060, i might need upgrade the PSU as well. |
