QUOTE(Maxieos @ Mar 7 2017, 12:20 AM) When comes to brand , which one should be better ? Any reply from above , a low end card ? , getting which brand was better ? in term of temp and sound when loading ?Asus or Zotac ? I know Zotac is 5 years warranty.Does it really give out 5 years ? Because I can't find any review on both of them. There's a lot of Ti version but there is no non ti version review for 1050 This post has been edited by Maxieos: Mar 7 2017, 07:25 PM |

QUOTE(Maxieos @ Mar 7 2017, 08:58 PM) Asus is cheaper. Anyone can explain more on it ? brand to choose ? or I should create a new thread regarding on which to purchase ? I feel like being left out here where most are being discussion on high end gpu When comes to warranty Zotac is longer.I saw some review asus warranty takes longer ? Concern on noisy fan speed when max load and high temp. Also with quality , asus capacitor vs zotac ? |

QUOTE(soultaker @ Mar 9 2017, 11:10 PM) The most important thing to consider is your budget first. If both fit, compare features. e.g. you on tight budget and do not wish to upgrade your card within the next 5 years, u can consider Zotac. Budget isn't that tight since it's around 20-40 expensive.Which one of it is more quite while loading , no coil noise and low temp ? |

QUOTE(g104 @ Mar 14 2017, 04:45 PM) local warranty is awesome if the unit have issue less than 1 year u purchase & even can exchange 1-1 within 7~14 days or even months (depend) So what about Asus type of warranty ? still required charge ? or without charge when dealing with asus local distributor ?the problem i don't like is after 1 year, depend on which item like RAM u need to play RM 9-10, GPU RM 30, PSU RM 50 etc. then u need to wait for few months. local stores stated they sent back to the HQ need extra charges too so i rather claim directly towards the exact vendors by myself than waiting those local stores (bulk) FYI, purchase Zotac from US 2+1 but M'sia offered 2+3 & majority issue is due to the fans. previously, i used to care bout warranty a lot but now i don't care so much & pick the one that offered the best value as long the price is not too ridiculous. e.g. (MY) https://www.zotac.com/my/page/product-warranty-policy & (US) https://www.zotac.com/us/page/product-warranty-policy simple scenario, purchase OCZ at Lowyat Plaza after 1 year have issue, they charge u shipping fees but OCZ offered advanced warranty experience. (https://ocz.com/us/support/advanced-warranty) sometimes if u deal with them directly, they might not charge u anything too. (depend) at the end of the day, like i said LPPL! QUOTE(Mubarak90 @ Mar 15 2017, 03:42 PM) Just go with Zotac GTX1050. Should be cheaper. From reviews, the GTX1050 series doesn't get very hot, even under full load. I can't find much review but zotac and asus is around the price , what i worry is fast noise when loading or coil noise when full load.I am less worry now as you mention temp wouldn't heat much. |

QUOTE(Mubarak90 @ Mar 16 2017, 11:46 AM) Well, they even designed a passively cooled GTX1050 Ti. So heat is not a issue for 1050 cards ? It's better than I though.Anyhow , will choose which is cheaper http://www.theverge.com/circuitbreaker/201...oler-silent-gpu http://www.kitguru.net/components/graphic-...ssive-hands-on/ There is even the low-profile version of these cards. With bigger and better cooling solution, I believe they can manage to maintain boost at higher clockspeed only. But stock clocks should be achievable with simple design cooler, with the 1050s. |

QUOTE(shaniandras2787 @ Apr 18 2017, 03:18 PM) both are equivalent. I just wanted a cheap and reliable , mostly just for simple gaming. Slience and cooler below <70 on load. Not sure because most review are done on US base temp where malaysia is different.the only difference that you need to consider is the convenience of warranty claim and the overall design. if you have an open casing/transparent casing then always go for the better looking one (in this case, Asus). i was previously considering between Gigabyte or Zotac because Zotac is slightly cheaper but ended up with Gigabyte cause it looks better than somehow, the brand gives me that assurance. |

QUOTE(youngy @ Sep 1 2017, 12:16 PM) There are some different between ultra and high in Witcher 3 but high is already enough for most of the people. I just wanna utilize my monitor refresh rate. Hence, I wanna purchase 1080ti to hit 100fps. Heh I never pay any games already 72'c .I don't dare to try , it's on dual monitor setup , using driver 381.Weird , my performance level always max at 2 never drop.Maybe your should clean your pc? Mine with maximum performance set in nvidia control panel runs at 54 degree max in idle mode. When you play games the temp will be over 80? |

QUOTE(edmund_yung @ Sep 16 2017, 02:48 PM) The chart based on MYR MSRP will be different. It will look different again with the latest price during the mining craze. Even so GTX970 below 1050 price ? totally wrong I assume.Still waiting for price drop. I know some said not to wait but because of the price is ridiculous expensive because of mining. |
