How to do a refresh when pascal is new process with maxwell architecture?

Correct me if I'm wrong
*
Uh, not entirely correct because there's die shrink from 28nm. Refresh is like the GTX680 becoming GTX770.

Maybe they can pull of some sort of Titan Xp Max-Q, a better binned chip, to become the 2080 Ti, higher clock speed but at same temperature envelope and full 12GB VRAM, selling at USD650.

Looking at AMD right now, Nvidia can totally milk us and only release Volta in 2019... Volta with DDR6. USD999 Titan will comes with HBM. Hopefully not like that lah.

6% based on the accompanying commercial invoice + RM53 service charge by the courier company for their clearing services
*
I see, so that's less than RM3.1k for the Gigabyte 1080 Ti drop. thanks.

Problem is gtx 1050 is expensive after price increase because of mining sad.gif.This chart is before mining ?
Since when GTX 970 cost is cheaper than gtx 1050 ? it's over 2k ?
*
The chart based on MYR MSRP will be different. It will look different again with the latest price during the mining craze.

Please make the 1060 Ti while they're at it, a cheaper GPU is always welcome.

Even so GTX970 below 1050 price ? totally wrong I assume.
Still waiting for price drop. sad.gif will nvidia really launch 1070ti soon ? or volta this year ?
I know some said not to wait but because of the price is ridiculous expensive because of mining. sad.gif
*
No Volta this year, maybe just pick up something from the used market if you want something temporary and don't want to pay for the price hike due to mining.

I see some people played PUBG in low settings to gain advantage in easier to spot people. So yah, 1060 will be more than enough to run it.

many ppl dint seem to realize u need to have equivalent amount of ram to your vram for swapping.

11gb card with 16gb ram.. thats suicidal. you gonna use alot of slow read/writes from pagefile on ssd/hdd.
*
I don't realized that, I still think 16GB is good enough for gaming, and nothing much running in the background.

Nope, that statement is totally wrong. You can read about it here. A lot of hardware reviewer uses 16GB RAM to test TitanX and GTX 1080Ti without problems.
*
I agree, currently 8GB is mainstream, and 16GB if you got the budget. 32GB is for those people who do things while gaming or use their PC as workstation.

i'm not sure, but i'm loving my Galax 1060 Exoc white than my 1080ti WB  laugh.gif
tho WB > Air for temp.  sweat.gif

i think 1060 at around RM1.1k is a very good gpu for 1080p gaming. this thing fan is silent at 55% rpm with hitting <75C.
average 70C on mining...lol

The 3GB version right?

If the new TITAN can cost 2.5x, Nvidia might as well price the next 2080 Ti $1000 or even $1600 because there is no competition.

Good thing I don't like playing COD otherwise have to upgrade to RM1.6k worth of DDR4 RAM to play, and the graphic isn't that awesome anyway.

Enjoying Battlefront II smile.gif

I got only 16gb DDR3 RAM, and reluctant to upgrade everything just to have 32GB RAM, so I'm going to call COD WW2 "poorly optimised" for system with 16GB RAM.

I'm most probably in the group of "30-60fps" Buying that extra 16GB RAM for a console title like COD MW2... not worth it.

If that's true, then I think better don't buy the 1060 Alienware at this time of time.

Luckily my X34a doesn't have flickering at 100Hz. I did get a single dead pixel which I RMA with Acer Malaysia without much fuss.
