I am taking serious about cooling Solution from now, stay away cheap lousy cooler solution just cover vga chip and vram, the rest components is unprotected will let overall GPU die in short period time, I got a few GPU toasted due cheaper version cooler ain't enough cool down overall components, BTW I got covered by 4 years warranty for this GTX1060 xtreme Gaming. If I wanna to buy GTX1070, I will definitely choose MSI GTX1070 sea hawk for RM2500 as minimum. BTW I just realize I play GTA V amost 17 hours straight!  rclxub.gif Patutlah kepala pening lain macam aje + lapar ooo  rclxub.gif  rclxub.gif

When your GPU rosak depends mostly on luck ba.

GTX1060 is like less than 150 watt GPU, no need to be scared on how it's vrm and things.

I had very old HD5830 still alive after so many years, just sold it last month and it was still working. It is 180 watt GPU with single fan.

More worth to spend on GPUs with massive cooling if it is 250 watt GPU class like 980Ti, 390X etc.

Don't wanna buy GPU more than 150 watts usage, now day even both nvidia and AMD mid range GPU capable handle 1080p resolution nicely, even consume less than 150 watts, save electric bills and less heats, due low heat, sure more longer lifespan. By incoming years sure GPU more horsepower, sure 3 years from now maybe that time mid range GPU 2x faster than current GTX1080! maybe even consume less than 100 watts. icon_rolleyes.gif

I'm counting on the last sentence you meant since I'm on GTX 1050 Ti... There are some leaks of the GDDR5X GPU's from NVIDIA that maybe announced this year in the later end of first quarter 2017. I hope they are around RM8xx to RM9xx and I'll go for those. innocent.gif

Looks like another unoptimized game from Ubisoft.

From the gameplay, seems like Splinter Cell meets The Division in a Far Cry environment.

the pcb & parts for asus are more better. i personally don't trust benchmark. asus s/w suck but h/w superior.

stringfellow missing for so long & by the way, 85.5 GB just for hi-texture is pretty insane.

Me too, from now on I'm buying 120-180 watt GPUs. Having a hard time selling my R9 290 before because many budget users using cheap power supplies.

And so syok now my whole rig isn't pumping as much heat as last time. Overclocking my R9 290 can make it go above 350 watts hahhah.

Looks great, nothing to shout about. GTX 1080 not needed. I'm running a GTX 970, i5 2500k @ 4.6Ghz, 8Gb DDR3 1600mhz Ram and runs smooth at 1080p

Me? Still downloading on super slow Unifi. Haven't played Fallout 4 in sometime, been busy with BF1, Dishonored 2 and The Last Guardian. laugh.gif
