QUOTE(ihatework @ Feb 26 2007, 03:15 PM) a few weeks back i accidentally knocked my electric guitar on something and to my horror, a small bit of the wood from the head of the guitar got chipped off. I guess it depends on how severe the damage is. If it's a tiny bit, grab hold of some epoxy and glue it back on! im just wondering whether this kind of problem can be fixed and for roughly about how much If it's major, try bringing it to a guitar tech... good luck man! |

Looking at the pic, not much damage done I think. Just a tiny chip. Thankfully.
Look for a luthier at this thread http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/162736 |

Did you chip the headstock? It's kinda blurry in the pic...
If it's just a chip, and you're worried that the paint will start to flake off in that area, you can just seal it with epoxy glue. It'll prevent the paint from further peeling off. And if you want to make it less obvious, just color over the epoxy with a black marker once it's dry... But seriously, you can just epoxy it and leave it as is... what's a guitar without a few battle scars here and there? |

Battlescars... I would be heartbroken, but I would just let it be.

is that a PRS SE?
easy fix is to go get black nail polish. black marker should be ok, but you might not like how it looks like. |

yup that's correct
it's a PRS SE i think id rather let a professional take a look at it first coz based on previous experiences, i'm not very good at fixing problems |

its such a small problem, no need to be scared.
if you want to make it look exactly like new, its going to be abit hard as its a poly finish. you'll still be able to see the outline of the touchup if you look closely. |
