Good that elantra is here. The extra price of turbo really worth for the amount of power boost it has over civic ketam.

And who cares on resale value If they want to use it for 9 or more years?

both are dry clutch type

jetta one supplied by borgwarner; elantra one engineered by borgwarner but build by hyundai themselves

jetta one quicker shifting

jetta one harsher and jerkier

jetta one got very consistent high risk history of mechtronic failures past 4 year mark; hyundai one not sure for the time being

If it comes from the same technology of borgwarner, what is the guarantee it will not face the same failure of dct in jetta? What changes has been done to dct in elantra to prevent this?

I've been driving mine for 6mths, the gearbox started to have some click sounds when gear is shifting, especially during the morning, when its still cold(i waited for few mins after started engines, for the warm-up). Seldom happens once i drove it for more than 5mins. Never happens when the car is new.
