QUOTE(sitescope @ Jun 9 2017, 02:52 PM) two hands holding the wheel nervously lolwhile my col busy ... snapping pic my SA quite big size, else i think it could go faster LOL ai yah now i remembered one thing, i forget to turn off the traction control and get in sport mode. did the sprint in normal mode, but that is enuf to give me adrenaline rush. No problem having nice wheels spin while doing jackrabbit launch, but traction control will intervene to spoil the party |

elantra interior quality does disappoint me. KIA has better quality in their cerato compared to elantra
quality wise mazda3>elantra>civic civic is just bad, they do not even try to hide those ugly welding spots at all |

QUOTE(dstl1128 @ Jul 28 2017, 11:40 PM) Sunroof enhance the interior cabin livelihood. No, not opening it - that just asking for trouble. If you watch Bobby Ang Kia Optima GT review, he's not opening it as well, just slide open the inner lid. for me i careless about sun roof. better come as option Red seat can swap with black. How about red door panel? MT.. yeah... dream on. Well it is all about the little extra bits here and there for getting/luring customers. one less mechanical/moving part to spoil/rattle etc down the road btw, i used to think red seats are cool like... 7 years ago.. sort of white car combo red seat fetish lol now, please no! |

QUOTE(dman @ Jul 31 2017, 03:16 PM) I do think msia market here all prefer dark and gloomy coloured interior. Even the dual tone Kia Rio interior became monotone in msia market. this reminds me that ppl here are more conservative compared to those angmo/european. those sitting in marketing dept should know..I myself prefer dual tone especially cream or brown dual tone interior combo but here all is black... And now Hyundai Elantra sport offers bright red which i think quite a surprise but majority still prefer black. If i were to get this car i think the red interior should be ok but still prefer darker red in kia optima turbo which looks superb premium. |

QUOTE(constant_weight @ Dec 3 2017, 12:32 AM) Beside the stone pits at front bumper after 200km/h highway, so far so good. i remembered i saw one of your left rear light CCC didnt lit up from one of the photo you have shared. IINM, going up genting one. is it true or due to camera angle? Our highway condition is terrible. Flying stones everywhere. Muddy trucks shouldn't be allowed on highway before a proper cleaning. |

QUOTE(constant_weight @ Dec 5 2017, 06:18 PM) None of the above. It is due to camera refresh rate not sync with the LED light refresh rate much higher. oh damn! Not sure you have electeonics background. LED, light emitting diode is a diode which have a constant voltage drop regardless what voltage you apply. Typically 0.7V from general text book, but it really depends on doping of the junction. Anyway ingore the theory, we can't control the LED brightness by contol the voltage which reduce the current like the resistive incandescent bulb. We need a modulation circuit which flash it on/off. This is what we usually called LED driver. This applies for any LED. Car, household, traffic light, you name it. how could i forget that was due to PWM.. regarding the LED, thr is always a non pwm version but i think it has its own disadvantages tat car maker does not feel like to implement it wide |
