I've test driven both Elantra Sport and Civic TC-P and I think if you want a fun car definitely go for Elantra Sport, but if you're a bit more family oriented the Civic is way more spacious, comfortable (for passengers) and have a higher resale value. I was struggling between the 2 and in the end decided I want the Civic

Civic is also fun to drive and I'm comparing after testing the Volkswagen Passat 1.8 and jetta...its not sluggish at all.....i tested the creato koup 1.6 turbo should be the same engine as the elantra nothing to shout about really....maybe I was expecting more since the car got 202 hp something like that

Hyundai DCT is also being used in many models including Ioniq, Tucson. When lurking Hyundai international forum to find about their DCT reliability, I don't find many negative things.

BTW, I'm getting 2017 Elantra Sport soon, let's see how it goes smile.gif

Dry clutch, shouldn't be a problem unless you are driving uphill in Cameron Highland during the peak season.
If the clutches are getting hot, there should be warning.

Yes, just like manual, you don't want the clutches to slip for a long period of time.

edit:
@dares, you should know better, https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=3991001

Can I know whether DCT problems are due to heat and synthetic ATF?
