Hi,

I'm a non-Bumi and would like to invest in ASNB products. May I know the following steps are correct for a starter?

1. Visit any ASNB branches to open a ASNB account.
Q: Any differences if go through via ASNB agents such as Maybank/CIMB, ie, charges, extra bank account required....

2. Download app - myASNB to purchase ASNB products.
Q: Is there reference of return rate comparison between non-Bumi funds. Something like average return rate for 5 years.

1. Asnb can see units in real time while agents cannot.  Agents kinda give all kind of BS reason for not wanting to open new account.. No chargers.. Don't needs bank account, but if later withdrew easily because can contra into your bank account.. If not give hard cash or cheque...

2. No apps for now. Only website available.. MyASNB portal

1. No different for opening account. But go to bank only if the ASNB branch is too far from ur place..
2. There is no apps to diwnload..its a website portal. In the first page of the portal there is historical return for all funds, bumi and non-bumi.

Good luck

Additional of units to existing units.

Applicable to all ASNB funds? Like fixed price? Coz i thought only limited supply of those funds..if ASNB gives away additional units...that means lesser units for the public?

Can do...no problem...im depositing for my wife and kids ASNB from my individual bank account...

In this case (top up for others)...Do we need to register own handphone number when newly register with ASNB then?
I know when top up can easily use own handphone as OTP since it tied to own bank account.

Yes with all the funds. Yes limited that's why need securities commission every year to tambah unit. If they don't approve,  need to give cash.

Got nothing to do with lesser available for public if they issue more units. Units are available because people sell it. So if they stop giving less unit but give cheque instead,  harder to get as no one is selling.
