How do I do it? Just walk into my local Maybank branch and ask for one?

edit: what other amanah saham options do I have as a non-master reis bumi? ASW 2020? How do I get into those as well?

Got my AS1M account yesterday. Maybank counter lady only allows me to open a RM100 account. She can't put in any more money into that.

Guess I'll be following some of you guys footsteps, trying to shove money into my account once a couple days during the day.

Btw I tried to add my AS1M account to my maybank2u, ASNB Unit Trust tab. It says there "Pending" after I entered all my details to add account. How long does it take before my AS1M account is ready/linked to my maybank2u

I randomly tried to add RM100 to my AS1M an hour ago. I did not get the "insufficient funds available" message.

So I decided to be a genius and go back, to try adding more than RM100. All rejected. When I put RM100 once more, they no longer have any slot for that either.

Learned me lesson. Just add RM100 whenever I can.

I just reloaded RM700 to my AS1M today. Feels like a miracle since 90% of the time I try to reload, there won't be any units for me to purchase

Do you people have more than 1 ASM account? I'm thinking of opening an ASM account too, in addition to my existing AS1M. I hear ASM have more available funds to buy, is that true? (I'm cainis btw, eligible to open ASM? Or is it for bumi master reis only)

If not don't bother la. It's very hard to top up funds beyond the initial RM100 when you open an account through agent banks

I used to have trouble adding more funds (won't even let me top up RM100 90% of the time) to my AS1M, but this few weeks I can top up easily.

Just added RM2k in small increments over the last few days. I wonder what happened.

Exciting day. I just topped up 13k today. Need to top up slowly with small amounts from time to time since it sometimes won't go through.

Managed to top up 1k to MY1N aka new name ASM3 this morning.

Anyone knows how much total quota is there in ASM3? and I wonder who are the people who make withdrawals at the banks to let us top up more.
