Hi guys, why the "Nombor Telefon Bimbit" is whole blank grey color? This's because of I never register any phone number when I open ASNB account?

Can I "kemaskini/update" my phone number at Maybank or any agent banks of ASNB?

I already stop buying any asnb since last year. Saving my momey for SGD since RM keep dropping. No point holding ASNB when your RM is dropping.

Better I hold SG stuff which can give me 6.x%
*
Sg stuff=Sg REITs? Like what we discussed before? Open sg bank account and invest there? Kindly pm me. smile.gif

I am starting to hold some usd without checking thr exchange rate, but RM is important for me as I will have my kuli life in Malaysia until gg.

Yes. That's right. Open account with them, dump money into their S-reit + buy some of their UT fund (0% SC + better selection)/ETF

I will be earning RM but I won't pump any money into ASNB/bursa saham.

All RM will be converted to SGD, AUD and HKD.
S-Reit, SG UT (but you need to know which one to buy)

I can bring cash maximum 30k each time I leave Malaysia and enter Sg? By car, by flight also same?
Is it safe to bring 30k in 100 notes? Or any alternative way?

You can bring max USD10k worth. whistling.gif  Which means one can carry RM44500 worth. whistling.gif
Car, bus, train, flight all same.

That's for malaysia side. For SG side must declare if >=USD20k. No way we can reach USD20k. laugh.gif

SG have SGS1k note. whistling.gif

When you have no time to go down SG, you will need the cheapest bank to do TT. Still cannot beat money changer rate but still cheaper than other banks.

I prefer bringing cash down as each SGD10k I bring down save me SGD60 compare to using the cheapest bank.

SGD60 is enough to fund my SG account for 1 year (fall below fees)/6 rounds of brokerage fees.
*
so I just exchange "any currency notes" into SGD and bring it physically by "net worth RM45k" into SG?

14k (14K=44.5K MYR) SGD/1000 note=14 keping only. lol so ezy... notworthy.gif

Hi all, the "pelaburan tambahan" is grey color (not green). Is it normal or the grey color indicated that my account has problem thus I can't top up units?

Well written Bro... Jus to add more

Another area one should never forget is income tax.. A place to generate some small income on yearly basis..

The reason for me to say so is because Investing some in PRS do entitle one for 3k income tax relief... And let's say if tht individual is below the age of 30, the government will top up another 1k to his or her PRS account...

Although it sounds small amount of 1k and 700 plus tax relief a year, assume the investor below 30... In long run, on top of the returns from PRS (usually 4 to 7%)... The Total saving made is huge amount...

I don't want to indulge very detail about PRS in this ASNB thread.. Go check out PRS thread, especially @xuzen post to see the values... Tht sifu has written a good write up there which might change most of people's negative thoughts about PRS...

@ramjade agree wit me?

I agree with Income tax. Minimize your income tax as much you can and pay lesser to govt and keep more for yourself using legal way (tax relief). Good eg is this blogger

Dividends from stocks are not taxable to the individual. Neither are capital gain from unit trust/stocks biggrin.gif  rclxms.gif (one good thing about being Malaysian)
Foreign source income are also not tax.  biggrin.gif

Any idea how can we reduced income tax for income source of self employed & rental income?
