QUOTE(kachak @ Aug 16 2017, 08:41 AM) it is not a savings account. it is a unit trust. but for some reason people though ASx and unit trust are different things. the diff is ASNB have fixed priced funds which means come rain or storm to the stock market the price will always be rm1 for 1 unit. I seeit is not like a savings account where you just "put money inside how much also can" one. you are BUYING a unit. it's an investment. you give money they gave you unit. the unit is your asset. come Financial Year End, they give you dividend. please do not confuse ASx (unit trust) with bank's CASA. although in terms of liquidity they behave quite similarly (you can sell your unit anytime just like you can withdraw money from your bank anytime oso). How to know the unit is available? Check online or go to counter everyday? |

QUOTE(Estee_C @ Jul 5 2018, 03:04 PM) Hi All, just sharing. I went to the ASN branch just now to open my account today. Oh,that means you buy variable fund at counter after that you can buy fixed fund at asnb portal right? There were 5 other ppl before me all waiting to try to get FP units to open account. So i just bought minimum variable price fund (ASN Equity 3) and paid RM104. Now i have the online account and the ASN staff confirmed that can purchase new funds through the portal. |
