Guys. I finally manage to open account for 1Malaysia. Unfortunately I'm only able to put rm100 as I'm told it is full. They told me I need to check everyday to see got quota or not. My questions is where can I do this? From myasnb website can?

I just top up additional funds for AS1M via myasnb, immediately I saw my units increase. I want to ask the pro here is it real time update? Cause from what I understand, AS1M is always full, so am i lucky or my units is not really purchase yet but they are holding my money?

QUOTE(wkalvin @ Nov 16 2017, 10:31 AM) QUOTE(nexona88 @ Nov 16 2017, 10:38 AM) Yup. Its real time updates after u see the units increases.. thanks for the reply. What if I buy more than the available units? Example I buy 1000 units but the units left are only 500. Is it I have to wait for them to refund me?Partly true when u say its always full.. There's always withdrawal from time to time.. Basically if u are at the right time.. Can grab those available units 😁 |

HOW did u guys manage to top up 5 figures in as1m? I've been trying to put rm10k in it but it always tell me not enough funds. If i can get rm1k is also consider lucky.
Btw, from what i read, i should put as much as i can before jan 1 2018 in AS1M to enjoy the full dividend, correct? |

QUOTE(Ramjade @ Dec 20 2017, 10:47 PM) When you have all 3 accounts, you can try different account and not just restricted to AS1M. Thanks for replying. I have AS1M,ASM, and ASG. ASG I'm not gonna touch it, so my target is AS1M. If you want to get the January Div, yes. If you topup after 1/1, that amount you topup is not counted for January. question, my ASM is not registered in MYASNB. can i get banks to do it for me, or must i go to asnb hq? |

QUOTE(Ramjade @ Dec 20 2017, 11:14 PM) That's why I stopped topping up. When you know of so many stuff that can beat amanah saham, suddenly it don't seem attractive anymore. Speaking of getting more than 6%, what other investment would generate more return? I'm thinking of venturing into REITS and stocks, although there's higher risk involved. Any advice? Amanah saham fixed price fund was developed to "give a false sense of security" as according to our in house accountant, dasecret it's a blackbox investment where the transactions aren't really clear. However, if you don't want to do homework, don't want to worry about losing money, satisfied with just 6%, then it's the perfect instrument for you. |

QUOTE(Ramjade @ Dec 20 2017, 11:46 PM) You can start with buying UT from FSM. Of course must buy good funds. Buy bad funds then Wow u are really pro! May i ask are u in Malaysia? How do one buy SG UT?Investing in Nestle itself would, you would have beat amanah saham. No malaysian reits will give you >6%. But you need to factor in capital gain (only realise if you sell, otherwise it's all on paper) When you are buying reits, you need to prepare to give back money when they come asking for rights. Stocks yes can beat amanah saham as shown by Dividend Magic For me, I go with the combo of SG stocks (give dividend of less than 6% but close to 6%) SG reits (most of my reit give > 6%) SG UT (wider selection + no need to pay service charge unlike FSM MY which means if I put in SGD1000 into my UT, full SGD1000 will be invested) Let the SGD do half the heavy lifting for me as SGD will appreciate over the RM in long term Results: so far both already beat amanah saham even my previous FSM MY portfolio have manage to beat amanah saham But didn't manage to beat Dividend magic portfolio (my SG reit + SG stocks) |

ASM, 1M, and ASW all are fixed price fund, so it doesn't matter which one I put money in right?

QUOTE(Ramjade @ May 14 2018, 09:16 AM) Deposit your money by 1st or every month or else whatever money you deposited later not earn dividend for that month. I don't understand the "lowest amount of the month". Do u mean if on the 1st I put rm100, then on the 15th I put rm200, the dividend will only calculate rm100?Amount calculated is based in lowest amount of the month. |

QUOTE(Ramjade @ Apr 25 2018, 11:31 AM) Wrong place to talk as people there doesn't like it if you talk about asnb products. Wah so anything that is place after 1st of the month will not generate any return? But from what I see here, ppl still put in money even though it's not 1st of the month?Rule is return is calculated based on the lowest amount of the month. Always have min of RM100 inside or else no return will be given to you. Eg. You have RM2k as of 1/4. You withdraw out RM1k on 15/4. and leave RM1k inside. For the month of april, your return will be calculated based on RM1k inside. You have RM1k as of 1/4. You put in RM1k on 2/4 and leave it. Return will be calculated based on RM1k and not RM2k Return is paid once a year only. Also does that mean we only have 1 day to put our money in?
