Im new to ASNB and went thru this thread. So the common targeted fund for non-bumi are ASW2020, ASM, AS1M.

Correct me if am wrong below:-

1. To open up an account , i need to physically walk in any ASNB agents ? Can i do it online?

2. Is there a quota to open up these accounts? as i notice a lot of ppl keep trying few times a day and even few days and still no success

3. Is there any amount limitation that we can put in to open any of this account ASW2020, ASM, AS1M ? Or it depend lucks and available unit?

1. How do we know if there is available unit to open account for that day in bank? Is it wait until your queue and you ask ? Or can we ask the bank officer there if available then we only take ticket for queue-ing?

2.Min Rm 100 and max is depend the available unit for that day right? THe quota is shared from bank itself or centrally from all bank?

3. Topup can be done online right? Since i notice there is a portal available now.

Is there any reference to check when is the dividend date? Where i can get those info?

Went to bank yesterday and only manage to open 1 ASW account, the rest not available yet. Will try again during lunch hours.

Try an hour to top up but keep showing insufficient fund, transaction denied. Any good timing to top up? Or purely based on luck?

To sell off the unit:-

i can do it any ASNB agents and no charges required.

Just fill in the form and mention which fund to be returned. THe return will be in form of cash or transfer to bank accounts (if same bank)

would like to know how the dividend count for ASNB? Is it prorate based on the time i top up?

Based on below dividend release date:-
ASM - 1 April
ASW - 1 September
AS1M - 1 October

Lets say for ASW, if i manage to top up at Apr 1 for 10k. Is below calculation correct?

10k X 6% (assuming the interest rate is 6%) X 5/12 = 250

Please advise.

I tried yesterday but the staff just told me, no sufficient fund to open.

3 days experience after success top up 5k into ASW and AS1M.

Indeed the success key is keep trying again , again and again as per everyone mention here

just manage to top up 4 figure to both ASW and AS1M.

yea indeed. but no choice since you really need to spend time to top up and only success if you are lucky and consistent
