Why not? Except last year where ASB is 6.75%, ASB and ASB2 have never drop below 7%.
Keep in mind that the rate is dropping every year.

If you are a bumi, best to buy that. ONly after you max out that, look elsewhere

shocking.gif asb2 rates better then asb?
Btw thanks for advise.

Well what I know fgv exposure is very minimal to asb & others funds..

From the news report. Maybank, UMW & Sime Darby is the main flagship company.. If any of these go bust.. Then our ASx fund GG bruce.gif

Thanks

Judging from recent ASW2020, don't expect it to increase. Best case scenario maintain as previous year. Worst case scenario, decrease.

That is sad news to hear.Envy those early investors, even since i went in, it been going down every year..

Precisely. Nowadays all amanah saham products have decreasing returns. And people on FB page commented "Syukurlah ASW2020 6%, higher than FD" vmad.gif  vmad.gif Higher than FD for what when rate of increase of cost of living > amanah saham returns?  sad.gif  sad.gif

So confirm no chance at all next year they give a surprise by giving 8% to cheer the people up??? whistling.gif

Guys need to ask a few things:
1. What date of the month does ASNB does their calculation? Like after what date of the month it is ok to draw money without losing the interest for that month?
2. What date will ASNB be closed from this month to do their year end calculation?
3. Anyone know how much interest they give us in 2018? biggrin.gif

1. Based on the lowest amount of the month. Best time to sell/buy = 1st of every month. Best time to buy 29-1st of the month. You sell at the end of the month, you lose out the earlier amount. Eg you have RM2k, as of 1/11. You sold RM1k on 30/11, for the month of Nov, only RM1k will be counted. Now, if you were to sell on 1/12, only RM1k will be counted.
2. Every fund got different date. Rfer to first page for closing account date
3. Most likely less than 6%. Best bet is 6%.  sad.gif  ranting.gif
*
Bro so i should sell at the start of the month??? Bcs your example shows both ways only RM1k will be counted, typo?lol

2. Is it really possible for ASB to really drop below 6%?? That would be bad.
