1st day of the month...is best day to withdraw...and..last oppurtunity to purchase to enjoy dividend for the same month..
if u invest in share market...then u may wait until end of 3rd week of the month...to sell your share and invest in ASBN starting from mid of 4th week..to possible maximize your return...otherwise...any day is best to invest in ASBN.. |

QUOTE(skynode @ Nov 14 2017, 01:52 PM) Pros - Its another place to park your money! Returns are good (check their prospectus out). Risk isn't too high in my opinion as long as you stick with fixed priced funds (For non-bumis its ASW2020, ASM, AS1M; for bumi if I'm not mistaken ASB and ASB 2 as well.)Cons - Its not capital guaranteed. Its a unit trust so if economy goes bust or something big happens, your money might be gone. Someone once said that this is like FD on steroids, and I do agree with that |

QUOTE(monsta2011 @ Nov 14 2017, 01:36 PM) But I heard the limit increase each time when there's dividend being paid? Say I have accumulated $400K worth of ASB balance and if I withdraw $5k I still can put back $5k? Yup..As dividend reinvested.. The limit also increases... The 200k is for "fresh" funds.. Meaning your $$ u invest... |

QUOTE(nexona88 @ Nov 14 2017, 04:56 PM) U needs to understand.. How can a fixed price unit trust, the capital not guaranteed? Isn't it 1:RM1? Unless they changed the t&c?Amanah saham funds is just like UT.. Just because it looks like FD, doesn't mean its FD... Simple as that...
