QUOTE(nexona88 @ Jun 1 2018, 02:28 PM) Seems like AS1M is still getting the hit from 1M name... Donno how many times want to say.. Its not involved in 1M scandal... Just name only... PNB better seriously needed to change.. But looking at their statement on ADAM50 & others big projects.. They might be die die keep the name as it is... Stubborn I guess Soon I'm going to withdraw all my AS1M and move to ASW. I just don't want anything to do with 1M though I know it's not in anyway connected to 1MDB. I just hate the legacy of 1M.

QUOTE(cklimm @ Jun 1 2018, 03:05 PM) lucky you, i couldnt get any from both tabung Not lucky. I was persistent. I key in the capcha non-stop. So if any ASW being sold, I would be the first to get it. For example I keyed in captcha from nearly 1 hour to get my last subscription of RM1800.

QUOTE(elea88 @ Jun 1 2018, 03:57 PM) few click got 4 figure ASW & AS1M.... makes me wonder why ppl want withdraw on last day? You confused. If purchase today is the last day to get dividend for the whole month of June. If withdraw, today is the best day coz already dapat dividend for the whole month of May.

QUOTE(veera77 @ Jun 12 2018, 04:55 AM) What would happen if next ASW dividend is 4%? This forum will ended-up as ‘cursing spot’ for at least one month...LOL! Looking at this year Bursa performance...we could expect dividend between 5.5-6.0% for next ASW and AS1M 2018 dividend.. Above 6% possible if Bursa Index could able to breaks 1,800pts... Just my guestimate ASW dividend has never gone below 6% since its inception, not even the 1998 Asian financial crisis when KLCI index went to below 300 pts. Any short term KLCI movement will not affect the fund. They do not buy or sell shares on a regular basis. They main income is derived from dividend paid by the blue chips company they hold.

QUOTE(TSOM @ Jun 12 2018, 11:19 AM) I'm hoping they will announce 7% or 8% this year. Actually the have the means to do so. But must first remove the stingy head Wahid first...

QUOTE(frankzane @ Jun 19 2018, 02:33 PM) Hi all, Ever wondered how come lately there are so many units available for the fixed price fund? I supposed many of us here are buying the non-bumi units, which also means many non-bumi investors are selling their units! When I bought a new car last month, i also withdrew RM50k of ASM. No big deal.

QUOTE(nexona88 @ Jun 22 2018, 11:23 AM) Not mistaken, next week... This dividend rate, somehow would give some hint on ASW & AS1M dividend later of the year 💪😑 Exactly. If below 6%, somehow I will have to reduce my stake in ASx.

QUOTE(blibala @ Jun 29 2018, 01:55 PM) Highlight : PNB under Wahid had contributed huge sums to the public via Umno politicians, something never done by other agency chairmen, the source said. SOS : https://www.themalaysianinsight.com/s/56913

QUOTE(nexona88 @ Jun 28 2018, 08:04 PM) So upcoming dividend for ASW & AS1M also same Or range from 6% to 6.2% ASM and ASD give the same 6.25% dividend. So I expect the same for ASW this coming August. But who knows maybe the new PNB Chief wants to impress Tun M and might give higher than 6.25%....Haha

QUOTE(vanitas @ Jun 29 2018, 03:25 PM) I wasn't supporting reserve, but it was unrealistic or even sounds ponzi to have fixed price fund without reserve. A ponzi only happen if there is no investment but paying out dividend. ASx has audited financial statements showing clearly the income and dividend distribution. Eg ASW still has RM26M and RM53m reserves after declaring dividend for 2017 and 2016 respectively. My only concern is the FS only show the income statement and cashflow statement. It does not show the balance sheet i.e. how much reserves accumulated over the years and where they are being used. Perhaps this is the grey area where reserves have been used for political things.

QUOTE(vanitas @ Jun 29 2018, 04:06 PM) How about there is investment but no profit / making loses but paying out dividend without reducing the fund price? Edit: Or even making loses and no dividend, but fund price is still same? Which year ASx is making losses? Can show me the FS? I am a FCCA and I only believe in audited FS.

QUOTE(kpfun @ Jun 29 2018, 04:45 PM) I don't trust audited FS, especially, signed by KPMG. Wow this is a BIG statement! Then you dont trust audited FS from Maybank, IOI, Genting etc. Since Maybank etc all cannot be trusted you better hide your $ under your pillow...

QUOTE(kpfun @ Jun 29 2018, 04:42 PM) By looking at the current market performing, likely, lower than 6.25%. Short term market fluctuations does not affect the ASx. They main income is derived from dividend and interest received. ASx does not buy and sell shares on a regular basis. ASW can still pay good dividend during the 1998 Asia finacial crisis because they hold the blue chips and ride the market fluctuations. This is the advantage Big Fund has that we normal people cant do.

QUOTE(Hansel @ Jun 29 2018, 05:01 PM) Yeah,... From the recent news abt auditing of 1MDB earlier by KPMG,... I'm skeptical too now abt KPMG's integrity in Malaysia,... this is a Systemic Risk then,... Not all companies are created equal. 1MDB involve very complicated structure of monies moving around shell companies. You wont believe the complexity until you actually see it. I know because I have been the auditor for Renong and UEM many moons ago. It's really....complicated. As for ASx, how difficult could it be? Dividend and interests received. Buy and sell stocks. All got audit trail. Even Chinaman audit firm also can do the audit. So if somebody say ASx looks like a ponzi showing lack of knowledge about the product and basic accounting principles.
