Soon I'm going to withdraw all my AS1M and move to ASW. I just don't want anything to do with 1M though I know it's not in anyway connected to 1MDB. I just hate the legacy of 1M.

I am already doing this on a daily basis by buying into ASW and disposing AS1M. Today I got RM5700 of ASW after disposing RM10k AS1M.

Not lucky. I was persistent. I key in the capcha non-stop. So if any ASW being sold, I would be the first to get it.

For example I keyed in captcha from nearly 1 hour to get my last subscription of RM1800.

Jari still ok lah, it's a battle of will to see who wants it more than others. Some pipu give up after 15 mins, some 30 mins. I probably can go on for 2 hours non-stop...

You confused. If purchase today is the last day to get dividend for the whole month of June.

If withdraw, today is the best day coz already dapat dividend for the whole month of May.

ASW dividend has never gone below 6% since its inception, not even the 1998 Asian financial crisis when KLCI index went to below 300 pts.

Any short term KLCI movement will not affect the fund. They do not buy or sell shares on a regular basis. They main income is derived from dividend paid by the blue chips company they hold.

Depends on luck. Today I just tried for fun in less than 1 minute got RM1200 ASW...

ASM and ASD give the same 6.25% dividend. So I expect the same for ASW this coming August.

But who knows maybe the new PNB Chief wants to impress Tun M and might give higher than 6.25%....Haha

A ponzi only happen if there is no investment but paying out dividend. ASx has audited financial statements showing clearly the income and dividend distribution. Eg ASW still has RM26M and RM53m reserves after declaring dividend for 2017 and 2016 respectively.

My only concern is the FS only show the income statement and cashflow statement. It does not show the balance sheet i.e. how much reserves accumulated over the years and where they are being used. Perhaps this is the grey area where reserves have been used for political things.

Which year ASx is making losses? Can show me the FS? I am a FCCA and I only believe in audited FS.

Wow this is a BIG statement! Then you dont trust audited FS from Maybank, IOI, Genting etc. Since Maybank etc all cannot be trusted you better hide your $ under your pillow...

Not all companies are created equal. 1MDB involve very complicated structure of monies moving around shell companies. You wont believe the complexity until you actually see it. I know because I have been the auditor for Renong and UEM many moons ago. It's really....complicated.

As for ASx, how difficult could it be? Dividend and interests received. Buy and sell stocks. All got audit trail. Even Chinaman audit firm also can do the audit.

So if somebody say ASx looks like a ponzi showing lack of knowledge about the product and basic accounting principles.
