KUALA LUMPUR: Permodalan Nasional Bhd (PNB) today announced an income distribution amounting to a total of RM1.93 billion for five funds; Amanah saham Bumiputera 2 (ASB 2), Amanah saham Malaysia and umbrella fund Amanah saham Gemilang (ASG).

The income distribution for ASB 2 unitholders is 6.75 per unit while ASM unitholders will receive 6.25 sen per unit.

ASB 2 will be paying out a total of RM562.9 million in income distribution to 348,000 unitholders of 9.4 billion units while ASM involves a total payout of RM1.1 billion which will benefit 540,000 unitholders with 18.4 billion units.

Aa at February 28, ASB 2 and ASM recorded a net income of RM551.2 million and RM1.1 billion respectively.

The three funds under the ASG fund; ASG-Pendidikan, ASG-Kesihatan annd ASG-Persaraan announced an income distribution of 4.8 sen, 5.2 sen and 5.15 sen per unit.

Total income distribution of RM211.6 million for all three ASG funds will benefit 185,590 unit holders.

KUALA LUMPUR: The MCA has pledged to set up an investment fund for the Chinese community, similar to the ones under Amanah Saham Nasional Berhad.

Party president Liow Tiong Lai said MCA wanted to create the investment fund in line with its initiative to set up the Kojadi Co-operative Bank, if the party wins in the election.

“We hope to have an investment fund like Amanah Saham Nasional where the public, especially the poor and middle-income people can benefit from the dividends.

“Indirectly, this will help improve their social-economic wellbeing,” he said at a press conference after the launch of the MCA manifesto today.

Liow said it was time for the Chinese community to have an investment fund of their own.

May I add in abit, buy one Sim card for your mother, bring her to Asnb office, update her data , then you can register online for her, any if successful purchased ASx units , just debit online to your bank accounts .
As for viewing her balance, close one eye loh.
