Today I went to ASNB HQ KL to do pemindahan unit from my sister to my account. Same fund.

No need depending unit availability. No need try and error.

Just fill up this form and proceed to counter. Handover IC. RM15 deduct from account for unit transfer.

Transfer done instantaneously.

Can also transfer between ASW, ASM, AS1M but that depends on racial unit availability.

Yes, peanuts compared to the time wasted sitting in front of the computer and try to get the units.

I done the pengisytiharan amanah.

But I notice they block 1,000 units from withdrawal.

This block 1,000 units is it included for dividend calculations?

The form not available at agent bank.

I ask asnb branch whether can do it at agent bank.

They mention depending whether the bank staff familiar with the system.
If they don't know how to utilise the system then cannot do loh.

Behind the form, they will ask to write down the reason for the transfer.

Reason for transfer is not important just serve for audit purpose for asnb.

Today I performed pemindahan unit from my ASM to sister's ASM account.
I did it at CIMB bank. It works.

Problem encountered.
- CIMB bank doesn't have the pemindahan form. I kept extra copies from ASNB branch.
- Bank staff not really sure the process but I press on for them to try.
- After the staff played with the system, manage to successfully transfer.

Conclusion is transfers can be done at banks. Just a bit slower due to staff not familiar.

It doesn't work by sell and buy back. More like a transfer. So it is not risky at all.

Another downside is that both transfer-er and transfer-ee need to be there at same time with IC.
