Just have a question in my mind.

I found out that my colleague create a printed invoice that get claim from my company.

He bought printer from digital mall. The price is RM300, but he print out another invoice with same format but RM350 to get claim.

The company's receipt got GST.

Now which company will have issue? the printer company or my company, when they claim from GST?

your company will be in trouble coz your colleague re-print again with extra RM50

extra RM50 mean extra 6% GST aka RM3 which your company going to claim..right?
thus Custom will delay your GST refund which mean more work.

it won't tally with printer company because of extra RM3 which the Custom will countercheck

This is not a right attitude but you should have sufficient evidence to prove the invoice is FAKE

If you are accountant for your company, you have the right to confront him.

No, leaving will not solve the problem. He can be arrested and prosecuted for fraud, all for RM50. Same as stealing the money.

The company will surely get into trouble with this. Customs will fund out and will launch investigation. Suggest you inform your company about this before it gets more serious. At worst now your company will fire your colleague.

If after all hell break loose your colleague can be prosecuted and go to jail. It is possible this will happen to you too as you act as accomplice.

Leaving wont solve the problem.

First the company lawyer will demand he return all money or be brought to court

Second he will be charged for misappropriation
