Wireless N routers are capable of 150Mbps or 300Mbps.

Theoretical speed only.
Practical usually won't surpass 100Mbps.

dl the correct latest firmware

unrar the .bin & visit 192.168.0.1

go to advanced > system tools > firmware upgrade

browse the .bin file then upgrade

wait & do not touch off your router during updating..

done. voila & enjoy.

reference;

http://www.tp-link.com/us/faq-688.html

P.S. remember to backup if anything happened can be restored with default config.

below the attachment proven i successfully flashed the latest firmware + IPTV & IPV6 is working too!

tested everything so far so good rclxm9.gif

According to SKMM Regulation
Percentage of
sample ≥ 90%
subscribed speed
(Fibre)

must 90% of subscription speed ?
but why TM not follow .. Tm under SKMM or SKMM under TM
Who want to follow this regulation but TM not follow it

Based on average results obtained from measurements conducted by MCMC at an aggregate level across
all regions, it shows that Maxis offers the better quality and more stable internet connection compared
to others.

MAXIS FIBRE BETTER QUALITY AND MORE STABLE NOT UNIFI

Figure 22 shows that users who subscribed to package of between 5.0 to 20.0 Mbps will experience at
least 90% of subscribed speed more than 90% of the time while for other subscribed speeds above 20
Mbps it shows that consumers would not be able to experience more than 90% of the time. It shows fibre
as a last mile can perform better for speeds 20Mbps and below. Some of Service Providers explained that
the higher speed packages show poor quality due to modem limitation and users may need to upgrade
the modem firmware to experience the optimum level.

PROBLEM STATED BY Some of Service Providers
A) MODEM FIRMWARE
B) MODEM LIMITATION

WE AS users may need to upgrade
the modem firmware to experience the optimum level.

WHY WE AS YOUR CUSTOMER NEED TO UPGRADE FIRMWARE BY OUR SELF
YOUR TECHNICAL TEAM DOESNT WORK RIGHT..

For DSL, measurements were only conducted for TM and Maxis. Most of the states are having the noncompliance
locations except for Wilayah Persekutuan KL and Johor. Based on total percentage of
compliance, it shows that using optical fibre as a last mile is better compared to DSL. Maxis percentage of
compliance for DSL is 84.6% while TM only 46.1%. From this results it can be seen that more than half of
TM customers were facing poor internet connection for downloading and it will cause bad user experience
during web browsing, streaming video and online gaming.

tm user in vdsl technology having bad user experience
verified by SKMM

Anyone in the same scenario? So now how? The speed upgrade is scam? sad.gif(((

p/s: I am actually happy with 30mbps. Just for the sake of arguing, since nobody will complain more speed
