Anybody here can advise on Asus WRT Merlin?

Is it recommended to flash Asus Routers with Merlin?

If flashed Asus router using Merlin would be able to watch Unifi Hyptv ?

Since I'm not back in msia on biz trip, would the tplink wr814 be able to support 50mb? Received the SMS that the upgrade is done

Won't be able to test it out until next week

Mikrotik way better than Asus, TP-LINK, D-LINK etc. those common brand.

Asus also can do multi-wan load balancing on the premium models. Not sure about TP or D.

It's a big headache with Mikrotik even with all the guides because most of them are quite general and has to be adapted to your setup. See here for my setup: 83909578 Later make it into a guide.

No speed difference. It's just for more addresses. Like our tel number, last time is 03-31494, now is 03-7331494.

got the sms from TM... power off my modem for 10 minutes...

DL speed same 26~27Mbps..

UL speed increase to 20Mbps....

anybody else face same problem???

I'm starting to doubt the result I got from thankyousurprise page. According to them I'm eligible for free upgrade but when I tried applying for new unifi plan, apparently the max speed for my apartment is limited to 30 mbps. hmm.gif
