The default exercise is that all eligible users will get their free upgrade executed regardless they click the accept button or not, except for those who refuse and click decline button

The hypptv package that I have bundled together with unifi adv 30mbps, can it be removed if i'm no longer in contract? Paying Rm30 for nothing as it's not even hooked up to my tv, lol

Who would refuse and decline the free upgrade?
Everyone is looking forward to the free upgrade.

I am still on VIP5 package. tongue.gif
If you have not got any free upgrade before, then you should get your free upgrade in this exercise.
Did you subscribed your current package under some special promotion?

No one can really tell u. If u think price Ok, then just subscribe it now. RM179 will enjoy 50mb during upgrade promotion. After promotion, may be just RM179 for 30mb. U do the calculation n judge urself.

QUOTE(Xefron @ Jan 23 2017, 01:23 PM)
it is perpetual.

QUOTE(Cynox @ Jan 23 2017, 01:28 PM)
according to Budget 2017, the price will be cut to half within 2 years or so.

Thanks for the input.

seems like the subscription rate will be permanent. and also eligible for free upgrade rclxm9.gif

btw, if subscribe online can get 1 month free. i applied online but after few days still noone called me for so i went to look for agent instead. after registered with agent and confirming installation date then suddenly got call from tm asking for online application confirmation saying if confirm online application only can get 1 month free. oh well doh.gif

I believe your rate of RM209 is for the Unifi Advance 30 + Ruby Pack (old rates & Ruby was Rm10 more).
Currently, with the present rates, it would be RM179 (with either Aneka, Varnam or Ruby)

If you received a counter-offer (when terminating your subscription) or any free upgrade prior to 31st Dec 2017, you won't be eligible.

Either that or your area is unable to cater for 50mbps - which could be their technical limitation, mentioned in their T&C.
I know several friends living in highrises that only have 30Mbps as their max in their building.

Then again, no harm asking or raising an amicable dispute as I personally feel all Malaysians with existing subscriptions should benefit from the Bajet 2017 announcement & not conditionally (i.e. those who received a free upgrade in the past aren't entitled, etc).

Remember that your contract period will not be extended / renewed & should remain the same should you get the free upgrade.

You are so screwed!
I thought no more VIP5 eventually. The lowest will be Unifi10.
You better go and ask them why you are not eligible for the free upgrade to Unifi10.

I subscribed to VIP5 at RM149 slightly more than two years ago, but I got this. How come you don't get it?

This is their reply:

With regards on the query, kindly be inform that not all Unifi customer will get free upgrade. The Free Speed Upgrade is subject to the Technical and Service availability. Technical limitation is something that we can’t avoid. There will be some customers who will not be able to enjoy the Free Speed Upgrade due to this factor.

Should customer not eligible for free upgrade, TM will offer customer the other option under Thank You Surprise as you received.

We hope we have addressed your concern and look forward to serve you better.

Regards,
