...if your car tells you there is an issue, GET IT LOOKED AT. I once ovIferlooked such a warning light... the cost to fix it exploded compared to had it been fixed immediately.
No wonder your car is unreliable, if you can't look after it properly. |

I have a check engine light on right now but the OBD port is not working so theres no way to tell whats wrong with the car lol, all outside specialist tell me to just go to the official service centre coz they dont dare to touch it since it has never happened before. Service centre books me an appointment for next monthNo wonder your car is unreliable, if you can't look after it properly. |

Common prob for vw/audi. What happened is something wrong with any of the cylinder operation and the car system shutoff the problematic cylinder hence the rattle. No need to wait overnight. Just park tepi and restart car will temporarily solve the prob. EPC light will still on but the rattle/judder will go away. Usually this prob will happen during WOT(max tekan pedal) and during high rpm. Common culprit is the coilpack or spark plug. In modded car community usually they will encourage ppl with tuned car to change coil pack to the red r8 coilpack to prevent this prob.

QUOTE(Ginny88 @ Jan 26 2017, 08:58 PM) What can he do with the error code? He still need to bring to workshop to fix. So may as well take to workshop now and let them diagnose the error. Since the car is no longer under warranty take to outside VW specialist instead of wasting time here listening to half-baked advice about buying an OBDII reader. Error code generated from an OBD II reader and advice from a respected owner's forum - i.e. VW Owners Europe will yield better results than the wild guesses half-baked sifus. Based on my observation, 90% of 'advice' from 'sifus' here are actually inaccurate. Makes me wonder why you'd defend the like....... |
