Hello hardware gurus and mastahs. Recently, i read that the GTX 10 series has no 'm' now when incorporated into the laptop because of the new pascal architecture. And i also have done abit of research about the difference in performance but none gave me the clear cut explanation. Some reviews even said that the laptop version is better than desktop version. This is very confusing bangwall.gif

Is there anyone can give me a link to read more/ youtube videos/ or just explain in the comments section?. Thanks thumbup.gif

The laptop version will be the underpowered if compared with the desktop version.

Thank you very much. this was a really good video to compare the performance between the gtx 10 series, so the difference was like only 1%-10%. Thank you again smile.gif

Very hard to say. It heavily depends on the notebook because these days Nvidia GPU Boost is based on the temperature and power draw of the GPU to control the clockspeed. If the notebook itself has poor thermal control, the GPU will throttle like crazy.

For those going GTX 10 series, you are already good. Just ignore geeky advises. Make sure your budget is fine enough.
