There's several easy way to make a huge amount of profit and level up cooking skill super fast in the game.

Once you've unlocked all three villages and can buy yogurt, butter and corn meal from the supply shop, you can cook Cornmeal Flatbread. It's extremely rewarding.

If you're still in the first year, you can sell Rice Porridge. The ingredient is rice and soy sauce which you can buy in Tsuyukusa.

Did any of you guys go this route? Some people don't like to do this since they consider it cheaty.

Will there be any DLC for US version? I thought it's only for JP version

I love how XSEED is very honest about deciding whether or not to localize the DLC. It's humbling to know how much time, money and energy they spent on localizing the game and the DLC that they published.

Sometimes as gamers we don't consider that side of the business when it quite frankly could financially make or break the studio.
