Hi guys.

Im thinking to make a thread discussing on what and how you guys display ur collection.
So everyone from figurine and gashapon, gundam, and others can join sharing ideas.

----
I'm new in trading figures scene. wave.gif got few of em already and thinking to get a proper case to protect them from my nephew and niece.
Did a scouting at ikea, and found this Detolf retailing at rm199

Any other alternatives? advice on getting cheaper case or even customizing it? Do share your thought and experience smile.gif

thanks

1st and foremost, is rm200 worth its price?
the Detolf size is 163cm H x 43 W x 37cm L

Anyone did custom made one, using glass/acrylic?

QUOTE(Exiled_Gundam @ Feb 26 2007, 12:44 PM)
That Detolf is quite nice, but I think for gashapon/trading figure, the height of tiers seem wasted, due to small size of gashapon/trading fig (maybe more suitable for taller figure;1/6 or1/8)

We can use Ka Ken's idea, adding more glass tier, so we can add moar gashapons and short figures.

@nlik, but from the looks of it, its look HUEG!! whats the size n price?
Detolf is only 163x43x37cm @rm199. I still havent found alternatives yet at normal furniture shop (mostly are made of woods)

i thought for the glass door, we can put transparent rubber seals at the edges, something like car wiper. at least it will reduce the gap
