Hi,

I have been complaining to CIMB years ago but until now they yet to receive this suggestion.

I wonder why they want to disable the paste feature in all fields especially account name and account number. It is very difficult to type word by word and yesterday I got one transaction rejected because I typed wrongly even I doubled check.

Sometime people will overlook too during checking time.

Please submit your complaint and suggestion to them so they can enable the paste feature.

Why they got invalid characters because people tend to copy with extra space at the end of the words.. so when you paste it, you got extra blank word too.. They need to delete the space.

Typing also can be wrong la...the chances to get wrong more high than you copy.

What security issue would get into if this paste feature is allowed?

I don't think so.

Maybe for security purpose ah. You can use Firefox browser to temporarily disable JavaScript, don't forget to enable back after you pasted. For mobile I don't know.

I remember last time Maybank actually disabled copy paste on their log in page.

My password is is 20 characters long and I store it using keypass, so pain in the ass to manually type the password.

I paste it to the description field and type one by one.... End up also need to type la.

Maybank is the most friendly. The favorite third party account, once you have added, you do not need the TAC again on each transfers.

CIMB, Public, UOB, they still need to request TAC even you have added into favorite third party name list.

You quoted wrong comparison.

If you said everything deals with money buat baik baik, why don't the S&P, you type yourself instead of using the S&P prepared by developer? They can simply add one word without your knowledge or you missed to read it even you have read the S&P.

Come back to this, when there is a simple way to do it, why must use the traditional way to type?

If I have more than 10 accounts to be transferred in one type, I need to type 10 times x 10 numberics = 100 times...

If I have all the bank account numbers saved in password keeper, I just need to copy and paste....

Yes, it is for security purpose.

Coz character also got different type and so on.

Thank God they disable it, although it's really inconvenient.

Btw, you made the mistake, so please take the responsibility.
