Guys, the so called "thankyouSurprise" upgrade, does it required to bond the contract for certain year ?
I got email regards 30 -> 50 gb upgrade, currently paying RM189 with sport channel ..i'm thinking to cut down the expenses after the sport channel no longer support EPL ..and thinking to switch to time, which offering 100gb with RM149 ...
1. anyone experience time broadband, is it stable ?
2. the reason i'm asking whether contract extension will trigger on free upgrade, quite a long story ..
My initial plan was : 10GB + Sport package = 149 + 30 = RM179, thanks to GST and total up is RM189
on last Dec 2016, i go to TM counter and request to downgrade since the sport package do not offer EPL anymore, but they told me can't downgrade, cause it was upgrade to 30GB via the phone confirmation, and they are right as someone called and convinced me to upgrade, i asked about 5 times, does this upgrade bond to contract and he told not..he repeated during the phone confirmation with the clause of no contract extension even my contract expired..
the counter receptionist told now 30GB is about RM179, so my package is consider worthy since it bundle with sport channel ..
I told her the fu*king fact is that, first and foremost, i didn't see any improvement in line upgrade, i still experience slowness while i doing my office work via LYNC or net stuffing.
Secondly, the sport channel i no longer turn on since i signup purely for EPL purposes and i don't need it, they offer other package but those are unless to me.
Long story short, i request to terminate it, but then she told me it was upgraded last time, hence the contract extension auto renewal was applied, i told her during phone call, you people told no contract extension, what's the joke and now i know how TM fool the customer ...so i don't believe they offer "thankyouSurprise" sincerely
I believe my story is not new to someone, i'm preparing the worst case by pay them for penalty and switch to Time broadband, appreciated if someone share your experience if you are using Time broadband.
From what i have heard, time is a no brainer if ubhave coverage. Maybe u cn get better answer in their thread
