QUOTE(weileong @ Jul 14 2017, 08:56 AM) Surprise....and wait for whole year for nothing...follow up at TM point...still nothing...kepong area. I live chat with them around 1-2 weeks ago.I say the email says will be upgraded latest by end of June then the CS says its extended until Dec. So i firmly ask what is the delay because mine 5mbps upgrade 10mbps does not need any infrastructure upgrade, just need to change the account. Then the CS like kecut balls and say will need to escalate to "Surprise Team". So i furthemore kecutkan her balls by asking is it possible to upgrade my condo copper lines to fibre or not, so i ask for any contact number for their "Surprise Team" so i can liaise with them and my condo management. She reply with canot find contact number but ask for my email address and phone number so they can contact me directly. And 2 days ago received SMS saying Hypptv account changed so thats how i know its already upgraded. Restart router and walla test speed show upgraded. |

QUOTE(JimbeamofNRT @ Jul 15 2017, 02:07 PM) their CS nowadays really useless copy paste person one lah. I gave 1 star at the end of livechat next day someone from tm asked me what's the justification by giving her staff 1 star? I told them if can give 0 star I will do that man. giving shit service and give false promise is what makes me give low ratings. yours is wat speed increase to what speed?extended till December is way too much man. in your case ok lah at least they did the upgrade. mine? many cases opened then simply reply back we will upgrade urs by end of year and then that's it. f.o. tm if 10mbps but copper line sure need to change fibre to upgrade so they got excuse. as for my case no hardware change so if they delay i can complaint to mcmc |

QUOTE(weileong @ Jul 18 2017, 09:35 AM) Mine would be from 30-50, staying at condo as well, my condo still using copper line...so they did the upgrade without changing the fibre at your condo ? 10mbps still can support using copper.im not sure 50mbps can use copper or not, but best if upgrade to fibre. There was someone that posted he ownself go ask TM to upgrade to fibre (from riser into his home) and he pay around RM200 for it. That is if your condo main there (not sure what its called) can support fibre without need to upgrade. |

QUOTE(JuneResources @ Jul 18 2017, 11:33 AM) Seems like some ppl still using streamyx (who still don't have unifi coverage). My aunt streamyx 4mbps upgraded to 8mbps MANY months ago.Is it possible file to mcmc and gif us free upgrade streamyx speed? Really beh tahan this internet service provider. She direct went to TMpoint and done within same day. Bkt Mertajam area QUOTE(Ckmwpy0370 @ Jul 18 2017, 11:49 AM) old condo/old landed property is using old infra means copper wire which TM will not change the fiber backbone or fiber infra (only available in new property) Hmm i thought copper canot support so high? Therefore, old condo/old landed usually use VDSL conversion from copper wire to support Unifi till 50mbps (max) if your condo can support more than 5mbps means TM using VDSL2 maybe im outdated... anyway Unifi should be all using VDSL2 |

QUOTE(5p3ak @ Jul 18 2017, 10:34 PM) I duno whether they eligible for upgrade or not.afaik my aunt also did the Thank You Surprise like how unifi users do, but there was some problem and couldnt proceed. So they went directly to TMpoint and upgraded within same day. Cant remember wats the problem cant do online... u can ask ur parents to go try. no harm trying. Should be eligible becoz they are phasing out 4mbps and below. |

QUOTE(monkeybeh @ Jul 19 2017, 08:23 PM) Streamyx free upgrade is available for quite some time (nothing to do with TQ campaign) cool didnt know thatit's not so well known, the Streamyx customers need to approach TM by themselves to get it. https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/4185278 |

QUOTE(nuke13 @ Aug 3 2017, 03:49 PM) QUOTE(nuke13 @ Aug 3 2017, 03:51 PM) I already logged to skmm. Then a TM CS called me and said that my apartment can only support 10mbps. Then case close. I had to reopened the case but they stick to their solution and consider the case closed QUOTE(nuke13 @ Aug 3 2017, 03:54 PM) My case like u. September batch. Then I logged skmm. After that they told me my house cannot upgrade more than 10mbps. someone mentioned copper can support higher than that...u can find my earlier posts see.but im not sure true or not..not pro in networking. Even if cannot support also depends on certain condition.. Someone said he was able to upgrade his condo copper to fibre for around rm200-rm300. i think from riser to his unit. That is because he communicated with TM and they check the main junction box (not sure called what) can support fibre without changing it. cant remember who or where i see the thread though, its not in this thread. |
