my unifi occ account already showed they upgraded to 50Mbps

but when i tested using unifi speed test, the speed never exceed 30Mbps 

bro, there are only 2 ppl in my house and I already make sure no background downloading during speed test

for 50Mbps, i expect the speed test is at least more than 30Mbps la, if not what is the point of the free upgrade?

before upgrade, i can get up to 20+Mbps for 30Mbps package, now upgrade to 50Mbps, still get about 20Mbps speed, does not make sense

i already complaint to tm, they said they detect frequent disconnect issue with my unifi

according to them, they need to rectify this problem 1st before the speed problem

no point go for higher speed package if like what u said... 

why pay for 30 or 50 Mbps while you can only get max 7 Mbps speed? 

There is a difference between bit and byte right?
50Mbps should be divided by 8
50Mega bit = 6.25 mega byte per second. Correct me if I am wrong.

Seems like some ppl still using streamyx (who still don't have unifi coverage).

10mbps still can support using copper.
im not sure 50mbps can use copper or not, but best if upgrade to fibre.

There was someone that posted he ownself go ask TM to upgrade to fibre (from riser into his home) and he pay around RM200 for it.
That is if your condo main there (not sure what its called) can support fibre without need to upgrade.

old condo/old landed property  is using old infra means copper wire which TM will not change the fiber backbone or fiber infra (only available in new property)
Therefore, old condo/old landed  usually use VDSL conversion from copper wire to support Unifi till 50mbps (max)
if your condo can support more than 5mbps means TM using VDSL2

My aunt streamyx 4mbps upgraded to 8mbps MANY months ago.
She direct went to TMpoint and done within same day.

Yesterday i call TM and they told me that the campaign will be extend to October 2017...
Yet today, i got my speed upgrade (VIP20 to Advance 50)...

I also stay in high rise building. Submit thank you surprise in early this year and received email that I will get free upgrade to 50 mbps. 

After few months around May, no update is being done. I met one of the tm technician said my Condo not support 50mbps since it is using copper. Make a complaint to SKMM and tm people said I will get the upgrade on September.

Yesterday, received an SMS round 6pm that my Unifi has been upgraded to 50mbps..

anybody know contractor who can do re-wiring for phone line? My building is very old and its copper must be in very bad condition already. My 30MB unifi only manage to get 15MB download speed. I only on 3rd floor.

Just got mine upgraded 30 -> 50 mbps last week, staying at Taman TTDI Jaya

My laptop and phone both getting max speed at 50mbps, but my pc only max at 35mbps, distance is within 5m from router, maybe due to aztech wireless adapter?
