lodged many complaints to MCMC & CFM, till today. no reply...

Running 1Mbps Streamyx since 2003, been told my area maximum can goes up to 4Mbps only but my router shows ADSL2+ with up to 9.2Mbps support every single moment.

Filled up the so called "Thank You Surprise", offered with Webe mobile plan.

My area also just installed with fiber optic cable, but no FDP box there. The fiber optic cable already there for few months and no news so far.

Our Prime Minister, Najib Razak, as well as the service provider, TM, never keep their promise. Shame on both of you.

Well...aside from PM and TM....there is one more failed implementation beside high speed broadband.....our digital TV transition called MYTV.....still in trial even though officially 'launched' in 2015....before delay to 2016.....and now still not yet.......

Currently using Streamyx 4MBps, wondering what is the surprise.

How come you paying so high??

I'm paying RM189.75 with GST for 30mbps(same price as current unifi advance plan). Thank you surprise is either hypptv jumbo or webe offer. But I think can't get speed upgrade because the place I'm staying is more than 15 years old.

I originally subscribed for 10mbps(RM149/RM157.95 with GST) in early 2014.

Late 2015, TM ppl came to my office and said got offer to upgrade to 30mbps for extra RM10 but contract will be renewed. So called RM10 but turns out extra RM30 because of compulsory hypptv aneka pack - the TM ppl didn't tell me that aneka pack have to pay extra. When the bill came only I found out about it.

Isky I think your case will be same as mine, not just extra RM10 if you upgrade but extra RM30 because of the aneka pack.

I got it too this afternoon Webe subscription without having to pay RM100 registration.
But I politely refuse their offer.

WTH? I thot they want to offer me free upgrade...in the end is to promote webe....

I just accepted the rm10 offer to upgrade my 10 mbps (free upgrade from 5) - the TM rep promised only rm10 additiona and not other charges, no contract and modem + router gets 1 year warranty (they are old equipments which are out of warranty)
But off topic - when i connect to wifi, i can only get 15-18 mbps.. if use LAN cable then can get 30 mbps. Conned again.. so i need to buy my own equipments that can support 30 mbps?!

yup you need to buy own router for the best result on wifi

Eh? I also got the phone call. (For my streamyx)
First, the person happily on the phone said, "Tahniah, package streamyx 4mbps RM88 anda ada dapat hadiah "thank you suprise" dari TM."
Apparently, TM is calling to ask if I wanna subscribe webe at RM79 and get the RM10 discount for Streamyx bill. (Celaka, , berani lagi tanya)
Straight away I blasted him for taking me for a fool and reject the stupid offer.
"Kau ingat aku bodoh kah, thank you surprise apa? Ni kira hadiah ke? Hadiah tu "free", bukannya kena langgan and bayar lebih untuk benda bodoh webe ni"

Then, he offered to upgrade my package to 8Mbps. And I asked, will my RM88 price stick? He said no. I blasted him again.......
Waste of my time.

no matter what package youre on, best experience is from a better powered router and not the one provided. The one provided is ok for near distanced wifi but for bigger house, go for own solution to max out experience.
