No, the so called free upgrade from 10 to 30 has been acknowledged by TM as miscommunication.

10 is eligible to get free upgrade to 20 only.

Tak boleh tahan looking at everyone's success story.

Had logged a case for 50->100Mbps upgrade. Hopefully I'll get a call soon.

Mine will be ready by end of Oct.

This is pure bullshit, I have received the TM Thankyou surprises and click on link to register and got back an email saying that my account will be upgraded for free back on 20 January.



Almost 9 months after I recheck it is still not being upgraded. Talked to livechat and got replied first it should be upgraded then they reply there is error with technical availability.
So now only offer for JumboPack or WEBE which is totally useless to me.

This is real bad and totally feel like being cheated. What supposed to be there from February till now has been the same old not upgraded Unifi.

After complaining via livechat they decided to call me, still saying I'm not eligible for upgrade at first despite having this email received.

However they say they will try to provide free upgrade to me at the end of October.

This means I am being ripped off by having 30mbps which is supposing 50mbps from Feb2 017 till Oct 2017 and still not guarantee to have the upgrade this month.


Worst thing is I have found out more people not getting the upgrade and in same situation in this thread in Kopitiam.

Finally got my call today for appointment (change router) to upgrade 50>100mbps after my second complaint to MCMC.

First MCMC complaint back in August/September they send me email saying that by end of September will upgrade. So on 1st October straight away print screen that email and send to MCMC lul.

Finally got free upgrade 30 to 50 yesterday. Sepang area here... hoorayyy!!!!

speed is the same

speedtest at about 30 mbps .
maxed out torrent speed at 3 mpbs

Got my upgrade from 30 to 50 this morning....yay.
Area is Klang Selatan (Near the Klang GH)
Received an SMS from TM to switch off and on router but I tested without switching off and got 50 Mbps download and 20 Mbps upload.

I got my upgrade too from 30mb to 50mb, Serdang area. After 10 months...

Got my 30 to 50mbps thank you surprise upgrade yesterday.

- 20th January 2017 : got email from TM regarding free upgrade
- 18th July 2017 : my 1st livechat with tm and the staff told me the upgrade will be done by end September 2017
- 3rd October 2017 : my 2nd livechat with tm and the staff told me the upgrade will be done by end of October 2017. The same reason was given that they now doing the network upgrade. No accurate date was given and always given the same answer but not the solution. I filed complain to MCMC on the same day.
- 5th October 2017 : Received SMS that my plan has been updated. Check the speed and on my unifi online account it stated 50mpbs.

Why after complaint to MCMC then they can easily upgrade the speed. Seriously I really dont understand...

I just complain MCMC. And gonna wait what happen. I think this TM doing their work like saje2.
