You will definitely get a surprise.

TM might offer you an upgrade to Unifi10 with a new subscription fee (it won't be free).
If you think that you want a faster speed, then subscribe to Advance30 before 28 February 2017.
You will be upgraded to Advance50 after April 2017.
But you will be locked with a 2 year contract.
Remember Advance packages do not come with free calls to TM numbers.
You still have more than a month to think about it.

Of course you still get the free upgrade.
You are paying RM10 more than the current Advance30 package (RM179).
You pay RM10 more but you don't have contract.

If your area is near to the TM exchange, then you are good to go with 8Mbps.
TM won't be responsible if you forced them to upgrade your Streamyx to 8Mbps and encounter frequent disconnections due to your area not suitable for 8Mbps.
Which one do you want? 4Mbps with no disconnections or 8Mbps with frequent disconnections?

When they send an SMS to inform you to OFF and ON your modem, that means your line has been upgraded.

Looks like VIP5 to Unifi10 will be the last batch to be upgraded.
They upgrade those who pay higher subscriptions first.
